Disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) accepts an invitation to surreptitiously investigate a forty year old unsolved murder on behalf of the victim's uncle, Swedish industrialist Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer). @@thelonleypancake I meant a sequel to the David Fincher version - the specific version in this video. Spider’s Web was not a sequel. It wasn’t even from the three books by the original author. And I still have PTSD from attempting to watch it.

Not usually a fan of remakes but I thought Craig and Mara were excellent casting choices and I may actually prefer this version to the 2009 one.
love the batman & robin eerie detective vibes of this movie
Lisbeth is one ofnmy favorite characters. I was so stucknby the way the movie (and first book) ended that i kept reading. I know the author passed away, but i absolutely despised the next two books. The first book wrote us a promise, and thennextntwl anused that promise to keep us buying. In the end, there is no catharsis. There's only the confirmation that her former sociopath psychologist diagnosed her properly.
Shame on Sony Pictures for not continuing the triology of Lisbeth and Mikael, would've liked to see more of Armansky , Lisbeth 's boss and Holger Palmgren , her guardian...
