Academy Award® nominee Will Smith (Best Actor, The Pursuit of Happyness, 2006) stars in this action-packed comedy as Hancock, a sarcastic, hard-living and misunderstood superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public. When Hancock grudgingly agrees to an extreme makeover from idealistic publicist Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman, Juno), his life and reputation rise from the ashes and all seems right again--until he meets a woman (2003 Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron, Best Actress, Monster) with similar powers to his and the key to his secret past.

The Hank Cook movie wants to convey to us that superhumans exist, but not many, because anyone who has superpowers should not marry people of their own kind, and people in the past called them gods and angels, and now the heroes are superhumansHe tells us that angels would not exist if a supernatural hero appeared now, and that what only the prophets could see was this powerful human being ،God knows

For about the first 3 minutes, this is a truly great fight scene. Everything is character-driven, the action beats are inventive, and it provides a showcase for two very funny and skillful actors. They're practically like an old vaudeville duo here. Then at about 4:12, it all goes south. Little cyclones appear near Will Smith's feet... and just like that, everything turns into a giant video-game cutscene. The characters stop talking to each other. The actors are replaced by their CGI models, who hurtle around and collide with buildings; there is an occasional insert shot showing the actors looking startled or angry, but they aren't allowed to say (or do) anything. You don't really meet them again until the end of the fight. It's a scene that should be studied in film school, because it shows you both the right way and the wrong way to create an action scene.

This movie raises so many questions with no answers. What exactly are they, why does the weather go crazy when they're near each other. Is it based on their emotional or their personal connection? Why do they get weaker closer to each other? Even the girl doesn't know. She says "they" referring to humans. Call us gods, angels. Meaning even she doesn't know. Only that they been around for a long time. Centuries. Easy answers would be aliens or actual gods. If they were gods, they wouldn't be able to be killed. If they were aliens, why is their DNA so similar to humans? Hancock, at one point, must have gotten his DNA tested. Or the government did anyway. So it not that. They are invulnerable but still can get drunk. They are immoral but still get hungry. My guess they are from the future. Future technology we can not understand that they were biologically altered to be like God's or superhuman. These superhuman powers bounce off each other through waves of invisible energy. This energy affect the environment around them, like the weather. They were sent back to the past. To become the formation of religious ideas. Which will lean humanity to path it has to go to progress forward. They were supposed to mate with their design partner. Create children to create a new race of people. This new race would be able to mate with regular humans and procreate. Unlike Hancock (the males), who would kill normal women when they c*m. Or like her (females) who can't get pregnant by normal males. This it hinted by Ray's wanted to make a better world. To cure the sick and feed the hungry. This new race/ species wouldn't have that problem. However, the ones sent back were killed by people before they could have children with their design pair/mate. The reason Hancock and the women get weaker when they are together for too long is because it's a warning. They are meant to mate, not be in love. Once they mate and the child is born. They both will die. But because of their design, they are sexually attracted to each other. So they always find each other and have a hard time staying away. This is due to smells. Hancock, I think he smelled something on Ray. That was her. So he went with him. The woman knows they will die if mate, so she tried for years to get away from Hancock. There were times she gave in because of loneliness and design attraction. However, she always pulled away due to the fear of death. Hancock, before he lost his memory, wanted to mate with her, but only with her consent. That is why he was always chasing after her, protecting her. Loving her. Even though she appreciated it, she didn't want this design love. She wanted a real one. So when Hancock lost his memory, even though she knew it would make him alone, she would finally be free to find that true love.

Let me analyze the connections between Hancock and Mary. They both possess the same powers: Superhuman Strength, Invulnerability, Atomkinesis, Flight, Immortality, Super Speed and Can sense each other’s essences. At first, Mary said they are gods, angels. Also, Mary said that she and Hancock were brother and sister. But after their fight, Mary said that they were also husband and wife. This reminds me of two individuals who were not only husband and wife, but also brother and sister. Don’t you guys see? Hancock is Zeus and Mary is Hera!
