@@andythatboi3852 I think it's a real shame we didn't get the whole original trilogy with Rooney Mara. The whole problem with The Girl in the Spiders Web as a film is that people unfamiliar with the whole of the original trilogy lack a lot of context for what's going on. I honestly think if this series is ever done again in English that a TV series would be the way to go. It would be great if Netflix or Prime did a series of the Millennium books. I think we'd get a much truer adaptation of the books if that ever happened.

@@GodlessScummer It is very true, a tv adaptation would be way better, with each season tackling one of the books so there is time to develope the story. It would need a good director though who understands the world of the character and the characters and don't try to uselessly modernize or change the story and characters, just make a good, stylish, eerie, faithful adaptation. And keep it tightly tied to Sweden and Swedish culture, aesthetic and sensibilities

@@andythatboi3852 Totally agree. Although I'm not Swedish and have never been to Sweden I think these stories don't work outside of Sweden as a setting.

It's funny. This guy writes on the cover that it's a "Lisbeth Salander Book", and Lisbeth is in like one percent of his scribbles. She's the only interesting character in the series, and he ignores her. Please don't read any of the sequels. Those are hours you'll never get back. 😂

If you think the movie sucked, his books are even worse. Jacked up with fill, he goes on and on about nothing. Larsson is rolling over in his grave. Sweden must not have many good writers for them to have picked Lagercrantz. He sucks 😞

I didn't like this movie. Maybe it would have been better with Alicia Vikander as Lisbeth.
