When I was in high school there was a freshman 14 or 15 year old guy that was 6ft5 and close to 400 pounds. He was fat but he was also a naturally big guy and looked solid. He didn't grow any more though.

He is a really humble, gentle, nice giant. What I recognized is that he is not using the mixed grip for the deadlift anymore. I think this is better for him. I never saw someone using the normal grip and tore his biceps, this kind of accident only happens with mixed grip.

@@davidkosiba624 He deadlifts 435 kg for 3 reps at 23 and just a year after a biceps tear. Brian Shaw was nowhere near that weight at 23. It's not about his size alone. It's the weight he is already pulling.

When I was in high school there was a freshman 14 or 15 year old guy that was 6ft5 and close to 400 pounds. He was fat but he was also a naturally big guy and looked solid. He didn't grow any more though.

He is a really humble, gentle, nice giant. What I recognized is that he is not using the mixed grip for the deadlift anymore. I think this is better for him. I never saw someone using the normal grip and tore his biceps, this kind of accident only happens with mixed grip.

Bigger body bigger target + he would gas out pretty quickly and probably starve because it would be very hard to find enough food for him every day, there is a reason warriors were never very big.
