+MDCC Comics Just validate the purchase as an investment. As long as you take good care of it, you can be a badass at Halloween parties until the day you die. That is my excuse. It was a pleasant surprise to get my helmet in the post the other day. Invest. Invest in badassary. DO IT. DO IT NOW.

When I get a job im saving for that god damn costume. They also have cool ones from the original trilogy like snow troopers and fighter pilots.

Isn't it great they changed their refund policy conveniently too? I feel like I invested in some start up company. Five years now and counting. Edit: I just went to check the preorder calendar that had their bs excuses on it only to get a page not found error. I say we might as well fire up another class action.

Ducks aren't intimidating. Cause that's how it looks to me :p It rly doesn't look like that to you? The original Stormtrooper helmet was made to resemble a human skull. I have grown to like First Order troopers, but in terms of intimidation Imperial's win imo ^^

A crap ton of brownie points, because these things are so fricken awesome?! :D I don't understand where all of this hate is coming from. The armor came out great, and if they didn't expect people to buy them, they wouldn't have had that sales guy there...or they wouldn't have had that sales guy at all, sooooo...ahaha I, for one, would love to buy a collector's item such as this, and the price they're asking for it is pretty reasonable.

Ordered mine at the 500 price. I'm not bummed on the wait seeing how I can't fit and I want the new production run to be nicer. I'm currently making my f-11d which has been great

Looks nice. I wish Anovos would send me the one I paid for 3-1/2 years ago.

I've always wanted to get into "trooping" but the kits online seem so complicated to put together, can't wait to buy a full suit and be part of the new generation of troopers !

I think it looks completely amazing..I preordered the $200 helmet which as of right now is the only one available for preorder, will def purchase the more deluxe version as well when it's pre order is ready.

I ordered mine, $550. The sad part is next September. I was hoping to wear it with the set I made for my son. Videos of that on my channel... Maybe next year.

The 501st are some lucky ass people, they get access to high level force awakens stuff very early on, EVEN BEFORE THE FILM IS OUT

Anyone feel like the troopers are talking to each other through their helmets? (I know they aren't really but some of the movements they make, it almost seems like it at some points.)

Follower38 It would be very easy to fit a modern Bluetooth set designed for motorbike riders into the helmet and allow them to communicate via Bluetooth in an intercom mode or even via mobile phone for longer distances. I'm told the intercom mode on some of the good quality motorcycle kits can let you 4-way conference up to 900meters (980 yards) in open terrain.

+Follower38 I bet they have funny conversations like those you hear in the Jedi Knight video game series: Trooper A: "These blaster rifles are going to be the end of us." Trooper B: "Mine works fine!" Trooper A: "Once you fight a blaster carbine you won't want to go back." Trooper B: "What's the difference?" Trooper A: "It's all in the feel and the kickback. You can't stay on target with these things, you miss your first shot and you are lying on the ground with a hole blasted through your armor."

Even if the entire movie turns out to be a bust.. just this armor... it's so beautiful it would all be worth it just for us to be able to have this armor within the star wars universe. Well that might have been an over exageration, but this is an amazing piece and defenitly my favorite trooper armor up until now.. except perhaps commander cody's armor

Commander Gree (ep lll) is the best costume

Think both stormtroopers have there merits! I like the original purely because it looks great and the obvious nostalgia that comes with it! But I love the updated look Also! Sign of a new era of stormtrooper once people get used to it hopefully they will start to love it more so:) but overall don't think I could pick a favourite!

The 501st have a detachment of first order stormtroopers, being that the majority of members have grown up with the original trilogy films and that 95% have imperial stormtrooper costumes, this is not going to change in the foreseeable future. The originality will always remain with the original film for the current generation at least....Vader will always be the original Star Wars story and his imperial forces the original stormtrooper army. Don't forget the story of the original imperial forces has not finished nor darth Vader as Star Wars rogue one hits the cinemas December 16, telling the story between ROTS and ANH......

my only concern is how would u use bathroom it must be hard to get in and out of it without the pieces falling out of place

Judging from the movie being out for not too long, it might b awhile before the armor is available to purchase. Only the helmet is available to preorder. The other helmets are kylo ren and phasma.

I love how stormtrooper are pictured as hilarious people. But, i'm still sad when i look at them... These people are taken from their families as such a young age, their birth name was erased & changed into numbers. I think they barely remember anything about their old homeland!
