    This guy is the archetypal fake enthusiast rich guy. Immediately just starts talking about how good ferraris make you look, doesnt let anyone use more than 10% throttle on a track, whats the point? He pretends like he drives them, but he's keeping these things as garage queens just the same as anyone else. Why buy a 900 hp car if you're afraid to use more than 140.

    Tim Germany I know but its an old mans color, which is why its so bright, as when you get older you cant see colors the same, so with the young people like me you can and it just overpowers the cars and makes everything looks the same. as part of the fun is having things in unusual colors to begin with, while this red, it seems like a uniform thing, great for the racing team, utterly boring on the street unless its got some black accents going on to make the car pop. like on the testarossa or the magnum 308's

    David is a living legend. I was working Air Duct Cleaning when I first seen him. I sparked from it. I now have 3 locations in Montana of my own. I bought my Ferrari in Denver for $75,000. Its my other baby, my child is my first. God bless and try hard to follow a dream and don't be afraid to change them

  • 7 жыл бұрын

    About it being the best looking one or that I would choose it? Looks are personal, but c'mon, you can't say that the F40 is good-looking. Badass, yes, but not anywhere near as pretty as the 288. The Enzo was a marvel, but the proprions are all plain wrong. The Ferrari TheFerrari is also striking, but most beautiful - just no. Oh, and the F50 should only be sold in pink to make it match Mattel Barbie's other cars. Obviously it would make economic sense to take the FLF and then trade in for a 288 and get a mill or two for other things, but that doesn't change the fact that the 288 is the one I would want. In fact, it's the only Ferrari I desire.

    Calle Söderberg About being the best-looking. "...it's the only Ferrari I desire." I, on the other hand, would be content with ANY car, let alone a Ferrari. I haven't owned a vehicle (not even a bicycle) for over five years. I'm a former Toyota MR2 and Porsche owner, by the way. However, regarding Ferraris, the Enzo is possibly my favourite design (although there are MANY others which are just as beautiful).

  • 7 жыл бұрын

    Sorry for taking so long to reply. Obviously I wouldn't say no if anyone gave me a Ferrari of any kind, but given what they cost and how popular they are with people more interested in looking cool plus the way Ferrari over and over soils their name by branding watches, laptops, kitchen aprons, amusement parks, cigarette lighters and just about anything else with their logo, I don't desire one the way I would say a 911 or a 356.

  • @TheWorldTeacher

    @TheWorldTeacher

    7 жыл бұрын

    Calle Söderberg No problem - you were under no obligation to respond at ALL, Herr Söderberg. Anyway, as I mentioned previously, I owned a Porsche 911 (at the same time as the MR2) and I can tell you VERY honestly that I preferred driving the Toyota, except when doing high speeds. If I had my money back again, I most probably would buy a FLEET of MR2's and Supra's instead of the single Porsche.

    I love the GTO, it's beautiful. I mean, I loved it since 1984 when I was 10 :) Nothing has changed since then. I guess it's true that man's aesthetic taste shapes by 10 years of age, and it stays fixed that way for the rest of the life. That's certainly what happened to me. The GTO, Testarossa, even the original 1984 Fiero is beautiful. And of course the 930 Turbo, the Esprit, C4 Corvette, I mean there were so many amazing cars in the '80s. All either gone now, or fetching millions.

    I love it, and I bet Jay loves it, that Ferrari guys are miffed they aren't getting the attention that a 1950's American or British car gets in his garage, lol. I am not positive, but I have a strong suspicion Jay's refusal to own a Ferrari all stems back to their corporate heavy-handedness with requiring they be present and "adjust" Ferraris for any videoing (which meant coming in and adjusting them for the specific course, track or roads the video would be recorded on to put them in their best light). That Chris Harris was banned from stepping foot in Ferrari's HQ, and banned from other aspects, (even though he is not banned now) speaks volumes as to why Ferrrari ownership is not for anyone who cares about fairness, scruples, and decency. Any car company who needs to control their image that much will turn off many car guys. It's not that we're Ferrari haters - just Ferrari corporation dis-likers.
