Literally the only reason there hasnt been a remake of this franchise. Is because Zemeckis has full rights to the IP and has gone on record to say that, "there will be no 'remakes' or 'reimagining for a modern audience' so long as he lives." We can only hope that he lives a long LONG life.

I disagree. This entire sequence should never have been included. It undermined everything Doc learned about time travel. It's dangerous and has serious repercussions. He wanted the DeLorean destroyed and made his choice to stay with his love in 1885, and that's how it should have ended. The delivery of an old phonograph record or something, similar to the 1955 Western Union letter, as a final goodbye to Marty would have sufficed. The time train (which Doc somehow took to the future first to perform a hover conversion?) and it's surprise arrival in front of Marty and Jennifer was way too far over the top, even for the standards already set by the entire story. It said, "nevermind, we learned nothing from all this."

I really like the warm smile Doc has throughout this scene. IT really conveys the friendship between him and Marty and everything they've been through going back to events before the trilogy event started, but we never need to see this, it's just implied. And it also conveys that the future is now for them to shape, and that he is very happy with his lot in life and that he hopes his inner most that Marty too can achieve that happiness before he makes his farewell. Comes off as that cool uncle Marty never had, or something.

You know what makes this trilogy great? It is completely silly and sincerely earnest. It is a little kid’s version of a time-traveling adventure story, with cartoonish bad guys, flying cars, Wild West shootouts, hoverboards, romance, and crazy scientists. It is completely ludicrous, and it owns that insanity in a very joyful way.

Mr. Fusion After all the temporal contamination they had to resolve, those parts should be destroyed in a secure location. Anyone recovering the wreck could have context of its purpose to reverse engineer (such as a government agency).

They would probably argue how time travel in the movie is inaccurate and that it's not how quantum physics work like in "Avengers: Endgame". However, that does not mean they can't enjoy the creativity of this trilogy. And the lessons that we learn from it. "Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. The future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one." Depending how advance intelligent life is, they will agree that with words of wisdom like that, they'll know there is hope for us.

It is a shame that they missed an opportunity back in 2015 to do Back to the Future part 4, like 8 years ago. I still think they could have pulled it off even with Michael J Fox and Christopher Lyod and adding some special effects and AI to help conceal Michael J Fox difficulties. I think there is a fan made Back to the Future part 4 and 5 animated film on KZread but live action ended after the 3 films. It would been interesting to see them go back to the Dinosaur era and deep in the future or other eras like medieval times which would been pretty amazing.
