It’s crazy how as soon as I started eating tons of fats and protein and minimal carbs my health improved tenfold. People are mortified when I tell them i fast all day and eat one huge grass fed ribeye cooked in tallow with bone marrow butter and eggs for my meal. I’ve maintained my physique and weight and rid myself of 5 medications from autoimmune disease

I disagree with this video because I am living proof that when you eat high fat the lipids DO show up in the blood AND urine as it does in mine. The idea that high carb diet shows up as cloudy in the blood is not true. It's just the opposite. I have already proven it via lab markers

@@no_country_for_real_men Cloudy urine is proteins and sugars in the urine. If you peed out fat you would notice your urine has a fat layer at the bottom and a non fat layer at the top. Come on lol. High fructose consumption from sugar and fruit can only be metabolized after its converted into a fat that is far more inflammatory and harmful than healthy dietary fat from quality meat or dairy. This is why high carb diets cause excessive surges in trigs, combined with insulin resistance means you have high recirculation rates with your LDL, increasing the chances of damage and problems. In a metabolicly healthy person eating real food, LDL circulation is physiological and short as there is healthy metabolism and not excessive carbs coming in. It's Pattern A vs Pattern B. High carb promotes the pathological pattern, LCHF promotes the physiological pattern that is healthy.

Dear Dr, I have been following your advice and at 60 with severe depression and anxiety, coupled with one TKR and still waiting in the UK for my left TKR, I wish to share my experience. In 10 weeks, my inflammation is down, I no longer snore. I have lost 26lb of mostly stomach fat and I have loads of energy. I ate twice a day and recently started one meal a day. I am looking forward to my first fast. I struggled to walk to the bathroom and now I am cycling. Diolch yn fawr iawn , Thank you very much

@@Isaac5123 Lol this doctor is a quack in terms of nutrition. Its all fine believing this when you're healthy, but when you're really sick, you quickly find out how bullshit the internet is filled with. I have heart disease and found out hard way how fat damages the heart. I have shortness of breath everytime i eat fat, and it usually takes about 6-7 days of eating vegetables and fruit to get better. I used to have enlarged heart, but after eating vegeterian for 3 months, it got to normal size. Vegeterianism can literally cure hearts. There's doctors using raw vegeterian diets to cure final stage heart failure, kidney failure, arithritis who have real data of real foods that work and which doesn't work. KZread algorithm just shows what you normally watch. This doctor is just out here telling stories. Most of them do that while advocating for bullshit diets, they tell stories, conspiracy theories, pick a bunch of studies that fit their narrative and create their own explanation.

This man is a national treasure , he keeps it real and points the finger where it needs to be pointed at . this is what Cardio doctors should be explaining to their patients these vital connections relating to our diet intake and lifestyle. when to a cardio doc and after one test where she told me I was low risk she put me on a statin and baby aspirin for life she stated I would need this . Just pushing pills never once mentioned side effects and dismissed my request for a calcium score test 3 times simple $100 test which tells more the stress test .Guess what I fired her she's not allowed to take care of this patient . Thanks Dr. Jamnadas you should be mandatory viewing for all Americans and besides big Pharma will never attend your funeral or send flowers fight back.

Yes Kathryn. I'm watching & re-watching Dr J's videos too. I'm a health pro & have known about some of this, but the way Dr J explains the studies & the TRUTH about how fats, carbs & proteins are metabolized is FANTASTIC. How emphatic he is, is awesome. Due to a lot of greed, (& some not very smart people being in power), we have been lied to - big time. Dr Jason Fung, & a few chiropractors (Stenberg & Berg) teach the same info as Dr J does.

Omg you are changing my life. I’m 40 I weigh 210 at start. All that stuff I was told about how to eat and my pre-diabetes and I had thyroid problems and all that other stuff along with high blood pressure and felt like death. I am happy to say that now I have learned to intermittent fast and then learned to go to one meal a day and now I am able to 48 fast with no issues at all. I’m now down to 173 pounds after really getting into it. I have never felt better in my life. I no longer need caffeine and I sleep like the dead. Anytime I feel unmotivated or I want to eat junk I just pop up one of the videos and you remind me that I need to stay strong. It’s my meat sack and I need to take care of it. One of the things I love about your videos is you give me the science. I’m a very stubborn person so without evidence I don’t want to do anything. But this has been empowering you giving me the science behind my body and now I control it and it does not control me. May sound weird but I love you. I wish you could be my doctor I wish I could be everyone’s doctor!!! thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart

So true. Healthcare is reactive, not proactive! I don't know why the docs here in the US can't (or won't) share this info with their patients. It's 2022!! Good grief. But you know what, even if they did, I see resistance to new info by patients who would RATHER TAKE A PILL OR HANDFUL OF PILLS/POISON than take responsibility/change their behavior. It's sad. These are our frequent flyers. 😔

bro remove most saturated fats from the diet and eat your carbs pre workout and post workout. diabetics who cut out animal fat and lower protein a bit have glucose levels go down. low carb high fat is a band aid treatment. it lowers the sugar levels but not by solving the problem it actually makes it worse and u get more carb intolerant. Do a light full body workout fasted then another 30 minute-1 hour workout in the early evening before dinner and it will heal much faster. you can still eat healthy carbs in decent amounts if you do this and its much healthier than going keto.

Hard to believe I’m just discovering these most brilliant lecturers. Too many doctors don’t talk about preventive medicine because we don’t have a healthcare system. What we have is a sick care system. I’ve been RN for 20 years and even I have believed some of lies. I use to think eating fat was was bad. I’m 50 years old and now I weigh only 6 more pounds than I did when I graduated high school. I’ve never been obese but for for a while I was going in the wrong direction. I finally realized that carbs and sugar are the devil. It changed my life. My husband is even doing intermittent fasting with me. He was 210 lbs when we met and now his down to 174 lbs. However, he is a diabetic and has HTN. I’m trying very hard to get him to stop the Surgar. Baby steps I guess. I’ll take it.

Excellent talk, so informative. I was put on statins 3 years ago age 60. Came off them 6 months later as I had muscle pains, though my doctor wasn’t too happy for me to stop them. Wish I’d had this info then, I could have educated my GP! I have listened to many talks by Dr Aseem Malhotra (cardiologist in UK) who explains the science as it is here and knowing what I know now I would never accept statins again even if I was unfortunate enough to have a heart attack. I think it’s totally shocking how Big Pharma manipulate the statistics purely to make more money. It’s all about profit & very little to do with health. The food industry is equally as bad. They’re perfect partners who are laughing all the way to the bank at the cost of our health.

I"ve been avoiding statins for years, but the next time I"m pressed to take them, I have some ammunition with this "relative risk vs absolute risk" statistical scam that Dr Jamnadas talks about. And I totally agree about the food industry, it's aaaaaall about the money, like drug dealers (or big pharma) - they don't care if you die when there's someone right behind you to step over your body to buy their product. The world is truly insane.

The cardiologist who gave me statins said I needed them to avoid ha and stroke because of high ldl. As soon as I took a pill it made me really really dizzy etc. He said my body was adjusting. Few weeks in and I'm gradually becoming weaker and weaker until I almost dropped dead - massive stabbing pain all over my muscles and joints. My leg s went so weak I was afraid I won't be able to walk the next day. My cardiologist said it can't be statins but told me to stop cold turkey which he said before I can't do. He doesn't have anymore solutions. Needless to say I was very desperate to find solutions. Long story short, beef miraculously healed me. Looking back, that cardiologist has a very big belly. I'd definitely do profiling next time.

I don't know if your refer to Dr. Eric Berg as a quack, but he explains complex things in a comprehensible way to a wide public. If you disagree with anything, then you should elaborate on that and not use ad hominem attacks. I listen to Thomas de Lauer, he's (just) a bodybuilder, but that doesn't mean he's not qualified about what he talks. I don't pay so much attention to titles and formal education. What counts is if you can explain the topic succinctly and accurately and if your advices turn into a positive outcome.

I was put on statins preventively once, about 15 years ago. Within 6 months I developed serious muscle problems. I couldn't walk for half a mile without getting heavy cramps in my calves, to the point that I could not walk any further. I also got pain in my chest, which later proved to be also muscle related. I was told beforehand that statines were safe, and had no noteworthy side effects. Once I found out the possible reationship between musclepain and statines I told my doctor and immediately stopped taking them. I also got tested and the result was that I was suffering from the breakdown of muscle tissue. It took years for my body to reasonably recover from this, but I am still not completely recovered. Despite of this history my doctor is still focussed on getting my cholesterol lower, although it is not really high. It's just that the values they are aiming for, and that were established due to heavy lobbying by the farmaceutical industry, are so low that almost everybody can be put on statines. It's a billion dollar money making machine at the expense of healthy people. These are my personal experiences and opinions, but to me statines are poison. A doctor does not decide what you need to take, you are the captain of your own ship. Just tell her NO or else find a doctor that respects your opinion and physical integrity.

After being prescribed statins for years I'm following Dr. J's advice including low carbs and IF.... I took myself off the statin and guess what? I'm feeling better already and it's only a short time off that horrific med...8 weeks into keto I'm down 18 lbs and have more energy than I have had in years.

Absolutely amazing information!! I was told by my Specialist Gastroenterologist in Madison WI several years back to take probiotics for my chronic abdominal pain. It works especially with a proper diet. No packaged food for me. Only whole fresh foods. No Frankenfood or fast food.

Watching the old movies and news clips, the people were skinny. Now with our no fat diets, being obese is normal. Eating old fashioned diets which had much more variety, including organ meats not only tastes good and makes you feel good but you were not hungry all the time.

I was a regular exercise freak who use to spend at least 3 hrs at the gym.My stress test was etremely good according to my heart specialist.Whilst exercising I experienced severe pain alog my jaw line .I stopped exercising and went to see a idiot doctor who assured me I was having indigestion and dished out some tablets. Two days later I felt terrible and made my way tmy aviation doctor who assured me my stress treadmill test a month ago were good and ruled out a heart attack. My wife demanded that doctor do a ECG and the doctor was shocked to notice that I have had aheat attack.I was rushed to a heart spealist who did an endo and discovered the heart attack was caused by a blood clot .The spealist managed to suck out clot but delay in geting treated had resulted in congestive heart failure. My blockage was about 30% This happend in 2011 at he age of 61.So my friends please dont assume it cant happen to u.

    Jumpander how much a day?

  • @jumpander

    @jumpander

    Жыл бұрын

@@Mystdryad10 It depends on the quality of the ginger root. If it's low quality (most often the big and desaturated roots) then I need to eat more. If it's the small concentrated high quality roots that are very yellowish and very spicey then I don't need to eat that much to get the same effect. In general, I eat so much that I notice the "good burning" in my stomach and until my mouth really burns. In my experience it's this amount that helps me the most. That means: My body tells me when to stop. And also, I eat ginger (+ curcumin, galangal) at least once a day. The more unhealthy I eat the more ginger I consume to counteract.

Certainly paradigm shifting insights.. Saturated fats and dietary cholesterol are not the culprit.. Its the sugars and refined carbs that cause high glycemic variability, inflammation and generation of triglycerides that is transported in small and dense LDL particles that oxidize easily into incipient plague leading to heart attack and stroke.
