Bro the device you are using have seperate 'boot' and 'recovery' partitions so your steps worked in one of my device (Redmi Note 7S) but some devices don't have the 'recovery' partition instead that is merged to the 'boot' partition such as in my other device (Poco M4 Pro) in this case your steps give the error that partition doesn't exist and flashing it to 'boot' instead of 'recovery' flashes twrp to main boot partition and make device only boot on twrp but never to system again. Please givee the solution of this 😢

I need help, I have a k20 (davinci)...I installed many custom recovery (twrp, orangefox) previously and it never required magisk to keep permanent (golden days) and many custom roms(aosp,miui) but after playing with it I flashed stock rom (which replace twrp with default recovery) ...now, I can't flash twrp (something with anti rollback feature introduced by miui) I followed all your steps but during "fastboot boot twrp.img" it stays at blank screen. When it is in blank screen, "fastboot devices" shows result which means device is not turned off...I HAVE OCD...pls help me or else it will kill me😢

Brother, Magisk 26.3 is already flashed inside my phone but sometimes due to installing Magisk modules my phone goes into boot loop, to avoid this I have to flash twrp recovery. In the way suggested by you, it gets flashed temporarily, but if Magisk is already installed in my phone, will it automatically become permanent or will I have to flash Magisk again?

Don't worry Magisk will stay permanent until you do anything with the "boot" partition because here we are working with the "recovery" partition and Magisk is installed in the "boot" partition.

Sorry for offending, but you'll look stupid by this comment. No, you won't lose any data when downloading. Downloading doesn't even do anything. You'll lose them if you see something obvious, like "Erase all data".
