Try to ignore the part of oem unlock and try flashing with oem. What error do you get?

I really like how you explain things so I am asking for your help. I have a LG stylo 3 750 phone. I have TWRP installed but each and every time I start the phone the TWRP recovery menu comes up. I have tried without success to install a new ROM. I have Platform Tools installed and LG Flash, however, when I try to use the LG Flash it does not see my device. I tried sideloading the ROM zip but I keep on getting an invalid zip file error. I think that I need to just totally wipe out everything on the phone and start over. PLEASE HELP!

Ok so my problem was i wasn't using the right version of twrp for my phone, since i'm on a12 i needed another build. If you have this issue just look for another version of twrp meant for your android version and phone model.

for me it worked with volume up and volume down at the same time and plugging in the cable, worked for my s20 idk about other phones

Maybe Bootloader is locked or kg state prenormal

Tried this same process and ended up with "Error verifying vbmeta image: invalid vbmeta header (6)", and now I have no other choice but to go to the service center 😓

Custom rom isn't something you can install if the developers haven't made it. You can however root it (I think).
