Virgil is new levels of aggressive if he wants to take out enemies immidiately he will

recently I discovered that if you use his BP Taunt, V will be able to do meele damage to any enemy. Neat.

He does damage if he bounces too. Only 75 but its still damage.

I can imagine royal fork is the go-to in LDK mode.

I love playing as V but controlling if shadow tele’s to you is probs the hard part of him since you do want to keep away from the enemy but not to the point your familiars don’t know what to do so a tip is always be medium distance and abuse the i-frames

@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts he could be way worse as a character. Unlike Donte he’s the dork version of edgy and is a lil more likeable for it. Meanwhile Donte tries way too hard and ends up worse for it.

Bro. That trick with V teleporting to position Griffon's dome attack? *Game-changer*. I've been doing fine with V for a year and a half, but this new setup just made the attack viable for me. I've been having so much fun doing that. Thank you for sharing that nugget of info.

This is probably better for another video, but I think it's important to talk about how much different of a character V feels when playing on DMD. I found myself much more conservative with DT and mostly using it only for revives rather than trying to have Nightmare out as much as possible.

Three words, Arbiter and Bayonet. These two moves have given me SSS after SSS. They are so fucking broken.

@@SSSmokeStyle The right thing. I mean, I'm getting used to Nero, too many fuckin' things to do as Dante, Vergil's Judgement Cut timing is way too severe for my terrible reflexes. But V, even I can manage the battlefield with the help of the servants!

I haven't played this in a while but if I recall correctly, air DT activation with V will knock enemies away.

I’m surprised Nightmare wasn’t covered, but I guess the point is that one should probably just focus on getting used to using Shadow and Griffon well before adding in Nightmare?

@@SSSmokeStyle but he is in the basic move list. There are advanced things you can do with nightmare, but neglecting him outright when you cover Royal Fork is inconsistent. Was flank attack even mentioned either? Super easy to use, will juggle 80% of baddies.

Pretty sure V can also do multiple gambits in a row with the right timing though I've never done it myself.

Yes he can, the timing is tight though, you have to press circle right when he pulls out the cane from the enemy

@@AxelGame i do this all the time. Really helps finishing multiple ennemies quickly without having to go through the pain of trying to undersrand how the fuck i'm supposed to royal fork

From what I’ve tested I’ve found out that blockade 3 never stales, meaning this move is absurdly useful for V, never stop charging Griffon.

*Dante mains:* Hey! Where's video for us?! *V mains:* Another one bites the dust... *playing imaginary violin*

Theres so much depth to this game, techncially DMC3 was the skill equivalent of a sandbox and this is the sahara desert.

I must be the only one here who absolutely hates playing as V.

Oh hate to add but beginners wont have turbo unlocked either :/

I absolutely loathe playing as V but this video was still cool and informative even from the perspective of someone who will only ever mash his attacks trying to get through the level as fast as I can so I can play as Dante or Nero again. Cant wait until I finish DMD and never have to play as him again.

Useless, and weaker half of me, pathetic, at least he has something...

Rule 1: Always play as V(ergil). Rule 2: Sometimes play as Nero. Rule 3: Never play as Dante.
