【DMC5】Beginner's Combat Guide - V & Vergil

#dmc5 #dmcv
Welcome to the third video of my DMC5 Beginner's guide to combat.
This time I will cover the remaining two characters: V and Vergil on the essentials to survive and avoid damage in combat. Since their solution to survival is very simple, I have decided to put them together into one video.
This will mark the end of this combat guide series themed for survival based skills. But I do plan on making more guides or showcases for the game, maybe in other formats than subtitling.
If there is anything I missed or is mistaken, please leave a comment down below.

With over 450 hours on DMC5 alone. I honestly never knew that Yamato's sheath animations gave D.T. Gauges. That's dope. Nice job with video too.

Your beginner survival series has been more useful to me than any other video so far about DMC. Thank you and please make more, I'm looking forward to future videos.

Thanks for that, I certainly appreciate knowing that I helped someone at least. On the other hand these videos are designed just to just help beginners pick out some essential skills to focus on. In terms of general tutorials on useful skills or doing combos there are much better guides out there already. So in terms of beginner guides I don't think there's much else to add to this. I am thinking about just recording a DMD playthrough where I intentionally play it safe, and just add in some comments or notes on survival tactics for the mission encounters. That way it's less editing and more actual examples to show, but it's also going to be less focused overall. I will consider that after I finish with the current game I'm playing.
You're so under rated bro very cool and informative
Oh wow, I never knew that Vergil's SDT doesn't drain until 3-4 seconds have passed.
Great job!
How do you get 2x more HP Bars and DT Bars?

It sounds like you have not been actively searching for the blue and purple orb fragments hidden in missions and secret missions. If you want to explore on your own, try going to areas that aren't the "correct" path to progress the mission. The game lets you hold down R3 to see which way is the next mission objective, try reversing that logic and go the "wrong" way. Of course if you just want the thing asap then by all means look up orbs location video guides.

Tuto how to do rainstorm?

Not sure what exactly you need by that question. Rainstorm is a Dante only skill using Ebony & Ivory, with the gunslinger style in mid-air. Seems weird to ask that on a V/Vergil video. Or maybe you are referring to “Heavy Rain” where Vergil's summon swords rains down on the targeted enemy. That move is performed in Lock-on mode, by doing the back-forward input on the movement (L-stick or S + W keys on keyboard) and then holding down the summon swords (gun) button. Key point to remember for any lock-on + directional input in DMC is that the directions are relative to the player character's facing. If the enemy is on Vergil's right, and thus Vergil is facing right, then "back-forward" would be left-right on the L-stick, or A - D on the keyboard, etc.
Dude, the background music you have I've already heard that on a hentai game, shhshsahhasaha
Vergil does not need a tutorial this guy is so overpowered its actually pay to win if you use his DLC 😂
