It's so nice to see a recipe for zucchini that doesn't want you to cook it to soggy mush! I won't tell you how old I was before I ever discovered a nice, firm grilled zucchini that finally allowed it to become food to me instead of forever remaining a Childhood Horror Food From Hell... (Ok, the soft stuff _still_ is, but at least I know now that if I cook it myself, I will be able to eat it.)

Don't forget that squash blossoms are also food, and harvesting those periodically to stuff, fry, or use in salads will help prevent getting too many of those overgrown, inedible, gigantic baseball bats of fruit!

@@alysoffoxdale Thank you for the advice. I don't allow my zucchinis to grow larger than a large cucumber (no seeds inside), but I still get too many. I heard about the flowers, but never tried cooking them. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated, thanks!

I love zucchini, much more than cucumber because the seeds are gentler as far as digestion goes.

The only problem with fried zucchini: if you don't eat immediately they do get soggy!!
