Dana I love the way you bake! A very fun video. Here in the USA we make banana bread which europeans would call cake. I’m not sure why they are called breads, maybe because they are usually baked in bread tins.

Nice home and kitchen :) sadly I cannot have cooked bananas but sure it's lovely. Have you ever cooked with plantains? not as a dessert though. Fibre is very important I agree. Well done Dana :) maybe someday maybe Michael and Billy will invite you to cook a meal in the new convent or chateau kitchens :)

Well there is no problem to use it for baking check it out , I have :Generally, butter does not last longer than 2 months in the refrigerator. Indeed, if it does not expire, it becomes rancid, in fact, its taste and sensory qualities deteriorate. However, should you throw spoiled butter in the trash? No, that would be a waste. There are actually several ways to use rancid butter in cooking. Is consuming rancid butter dangerous for your health? On contact with air, the fat contained in butter (composed of 82% fat) oxidizes. If it is safe for health, the butter takes on a straw color and an unpleasant sour taste in the mouth. We can therefore consume rancid butter, without fear of food poisoning, especially salted butter, since salt plays the role of preservative. However, as the taste will have changed, it is better not to eat it raw by spreading it on bread. What to do with rancid butter? To avoid it being unpleasant in the mouth, it is better to cook rancid butter, incorporating it into cake dough, biscuits, cookies or savory dishes. This way, the sourness will be imperceptible. Rancid butter is, for example, a food frequently used in oriental cuisine, notably to prepare couscous semolina or brown the ingredients for a tagine.
