    History and following its trail does not interest everybody! I, for one, have enjoyed all the research involved in Oak Island! Unearthing artifacts is a tedious chore but even the smallest item found helps pin down the years of use of Oak Island. Not destroying Oak Island is to be commended. Any treasure found will probably not be where modern minds think!

    I hit pause on the screen to look at the templar map better.. It takes a minute... "its draw" odd, or in sections. The right side of the map.. shows Oak Island for sure.. the templar "grid survey" pattern.. for sure... and the boat on the bottom, pointing up to the triangle swamp "landing area'... above that, it shows the double square in a square box.. with lots of black above it.. that's the "Tunnel Layout".. .or flood tunnels fanning out. That's just the right side of the map.

    One real good long look at that map.. with pause screen.. don't know if there is more off screen? But, with out knowing "how" they dug it all and actually built it all underground. It would make total sense... to start when the "double box" is on the top of the map... as the entrance.. and dig and an angle down... CENTER MASS OF THE ISLAND... Don't know where the water is underground... aim for the center first... get down there.. then fan out. For the Flood tunnels for sure.. how do you not die when connecting the main ocean water to the tunnels down below.. . run fast when the water breaks through the "obviously" Damp wet wall that you are chiseling into.... Once the box drains with the coconut fiber are in place.. the water is coming in.. so which end was done first or last? could they "plug it" somehow? Old tech is still effective.. like I said.. I don't know "how" they actually did it. Sink in a few rods into the damp wall .. connect a rope and pull from a distance.. explosives I would doubt.. not then.? All by hand. Credit when it's due.. just ask.. How would you do it..

    I’ve said before whoever was there had outposts all around the island for security reasons. They also had areas where those who were digging and working slept and ate. You can add also the animals that they had for moving cargo in and out of ships. Little by little they are starting to connect the pieces together hopefully we will get to see soon everything unravel. One thing is for sure and it’s that we don’t know a lot of things from our past. There’s things that were never written in the history books and time has buried them into the unknown. 2 reasons why this whole thing was never known to the masses through history in MY opinion is that whoever was there had stolen treasure and of course they would die without saying anything to anybody OR these voyages, plunders and sophisticated treasure hideouts were all secret illuminati templar missions that only they had the history of it written in their own libraries somewhere own their mainland. Through time maybe someone got ahold of those secret books, documents, scrolls, maps etc. The Vatican if it was Templar or any Kingdom inside those powers at that time. Looks like till now that someone with great power in the past or multiple powerful people in different times in the past sent ships with soldiers workers and animals to go look for something lost on that island. That’s how I’m looking at it right now. Every little thing that has been found has been connected to an officer a soldier or something like that. Different timelines tells us that there were multiple ships that docked at the island throughout history that no one knows happened. If it wasn’t them looking for something stolen from them of immense value then it’s them looking for what their ancestors buried there because they used the island in the past as a secret vault to unload cargo so they could keep navigating the same area without needing to go back to their mainland and waste weeks or months sailing back and forth. Maybe once every now and then they sent ships from where they come from to the island to send back the treasures stored on the island to the greater powers that sent them on those voyages. Who knows BUT the truth is that all this is very mysterious and I can’t wait for us all to know everything that happened on that island

    This is an interesting well thought out take, whats your opinon on the show saying a few years back that a cabbage famer living there bought up all the other plots of land and was apparently seen on the mainland buying things with silver / gold coins?

  • @HolyFckUfff

    @HolyFckUfff

    2 ай бұрын

    @@Hello11World He definitely found something BUT I doubt it was the buried treasure because if it was then where’s the rest?? A buried treasure that needs a road to be made isn’t a kind of treasure that will only be worth to buy plots of land on oak island and carry a few coins here and there. There’s evidence of lots of oxen working and pulling stuff around in places that have no farmland. Whatever they were pulling if it was treasure it’s impossible for a single human to spend it all quietly a few coins at a time it just doesn’t add up. Maybe he found a wealthy man’s stash, maybe someone or a group of people involved with the treasure either burying it or trying to find it died and left an isolated stash behind. A person who had nothing and all of a sudden is rich buying every plot of land on that island definitely found something the thing is what and who did it belong to.

    The silver oblong piece looks exactly like a paintbrush Ferrell.

    Treasure, Treasure!, now they can afford a Mc Donald's Happy Meal, but only one, so they'll have to share it.

    As a kid I remember hunting for coins under the couch cushions. Along with a few coins my father put there I once discovered a button. These jackasses spent millions and found the same thing!

    Shouldn't those archaeologists be using metal detectors at this point? Or does Gary have the only one on the island?

    True, but this is an "Entertainment" TV show where Gary Drayton is the Metal Detection Expert. Kinda like the Starship Enterprise on Star Trek where there was only one physician seen on the show for a crew of over 400.

    It that silver piece is indeed the top of a tassel that would link it to North Africa or the middle East. I've seen things like this in the museum's and market places of Egypt. I repair Asian carpets and I've seen many tassels and reproduced a few of them.

    Interesting! Certain things regarding Oak Island link it to North Africa, the Mediterranean Region and the Middle East.

    By the time they find the TREASURE ( No Treasure by the way ) They will probably not even break even on the money they spent looking for it,

    Whatever it is, and even though it is made of silver, it is NOT "treasure" per se from the depths of the Money Pit.
