I also think that the money pit was put there to throw people off from where the real treasure is and I think leif Ericson could be a contender he did discover Canada in 1000 and they talk about going to that area to get hardwood for building

@@JamesCochran-pg8qdIf Leif Ericson had treasure in the Americas he certainly would have taken it back home with him where he could spend it. It’s more likely a state player like the British or the French or possibly Spanish or a Privateer/Pirate. It took someone with a high amount of intelligence to construct the pit with flood tunnel traps, someone like Sir Frances Bacon. Let us also not forget they have also found signs of the Templars and Romans so it might have been the Romans first who discovered the Americas but we still don’t have enough cross corroborating evidence for that yet.

There is more than one flood tunnel. Go straight off the four points of Nolan's cross to the shoreline and start looking for flood tunnels. Markers had to be left where to shut the water off. It took a big crew to put the treasure down there.

It's a simple solution. Start at the money pit. Find the direction that the water is flowing from ( that is your flood tunnel) follow the direction of tunnel to the ocean. Come inland 50-100 yards dig down until you find water flow. Dam up the flow. Proceed the same process cause it's obvious there are more than 1 flood tunnel.

If i had given up every dream i had out of failure at the first try, i wouldn't have accomplished some of my own feats that i'm proud of. The lagina brothers had a dream from an early age & worked hard to get to where they are financially to see where their dream leads them. Many have tried unsuccessfully to find it. Its not their fault. Their digging for answers & the possibility is hurting no one, so i don't see what your issues are aside from either jealousy that they have the funds to do this or highly opinionated on how they should spend their money the way you would if having it yourself. I know I won't get an answer on this but how did those huge wood beams get placed over 100 feet underground "beneath the Garden Shaft" before any shaft or borehole was excavated on Oak Island??? How did those wood beams get that deep underground before any shaft was dug on the island? Who was down there that deep underground in the very distant past? I find it puzzling that professionals such as the geoscientists, geologists or even Archaeologist Laird Niven can't seem to figure it out. That underground horizontal tunnel existed long before the Garden Shaft ever existed. Maybe they should once again turn to the Geological Survey of Canada and their staff for assistance in getting answers. Maybe the peoples in the very distant past accessed the underground workings FROM BELOW via accessible shoreline entrances when the sea level was much lower upwards of over a millennium ago. I would have many questions for those guys up there.

@@19jody72 Absolutely! Let me expound on my original Comment. "They" have to know something about those wood beams and that alleged tunnel that "they" are not disclosing on the show. Think about it!--- The Garden Shaft was originally 83 feet deep and those wood beams were located approximately twenty (20) feet BENEATH the bottom of the Garden Shaft and that twenty (20) feet was solid dirt and clay and had to be excavated in order to expose the wood beams at a depth of just over 100 feet. The only way I can see those large wood beams being placed there is if it was accomplished FROM BELOW the Garden Shaft, and that would have had to be done in the very distant past (i.e. "ancient" times) when the sea level surrounding the island was much lower. Hence, those workings they uncovered have to be much, much older and ancient than they are leading on to in the TV show and they might be hiding the true age of it all to avoid the Canadian government getting directly involved with everything in regards to it being transformed into a bona fide archaeological project. This is an "Entertainment" Reality TV show and I have long maintained that not everything about Oak Island is told or disclosed to the viewer. Sorry so lengthy!

This is becoming more than a joke. The obvious elevation of Oak Island above sea (or lack of) level, means they are obviously digging below sea level where any natural fissure in the rock would cause a natural flood, it shows in the sub sea level caverns they already know of. You would have to cofferdam the whole island to prevent natural flooding at the depths they are trying to drill or dig. If wood, rocks and old iron were treasure, they would be rich men by now.

For me this is a clear example that they don't know what they're doing and they're just waisting time and money. Before excavating and doing all the drill holes that they have being doing for years you first do a x-ray geographic study to know where are the tunnels and underground anomalies, second you do a hydrologic study because you know about the water tunnels so you need to know the source of the water to cut it off before all the excavation

Didn’t they do that a year or so ago ….but I think those guys who did the scanning were scamming ! A lot of those were in the water off shore !🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nothing in the money pit area !

If this is truly a flood tunnel then once the water stops rising you can monitor it to see if it changes with the tied . If so then it is definitely connected to the sea . Now you just have to figure out where the inlet is.

My thoughts are that the original engineering works done were a failour as well, grand plans for something?? But it failed, so was never complete or used. It would not be any surprise to find remains of some of the original tunnelers who didn't make it out in their failed attempt. They have just drilled into a section of tunnel that has been dismantled and back filled, sealed up, so not a surprise there is water behind that section. There are many failed mines around the world including the USA, that failed and are just abandoned junk sites, or graves.

It seems to me that they know all this time that the flood tunnel was triggered, so why isn’t the first priority to block it off before assuming you can just go down at garden shaft and dig without a n issue?

Why don’t they shove the same metal sheets they used in earlier seasons down far enough in smiths cove (or wherever the can find evidence of flood tunnel entrances) to block off the flow into the area. Even if they don’t know where the tunnel is specifically, a wall of metal put in the way would stop the flow.

They know where traces of gold were found, they have an access point from the garden shaft, but they won’t be able to pump the water out in order to continue exploring with the side drill or access the treasure cavern until they block off the flood tunnels in the north bay. They have to put the dam back and continue the project they abandoned a few years back when they found the locations of the flood tunnels in the north bay. They should have had engineers working on that problem a long time ago !
