    @@damiencrossley7497 Pirates didn't construct the original Money Pit or the man-made (artificial) beach at Smith's Cove or the box drains, nor did pirates plant the non-indigenous Canopy Oak Trees that once lined the eastern shore of Oak Island next to Smith's Cove. Those "ancient" towering trees are all gone today........

    Half the episode was wasted with repetitive narration going over the same things that have been gone over multiple times in just the last few episodes... sometimes even twice or more in one episode. The producers must think we're all third graders that cannot remember more than a day or two.

    Nobody can know who brought what to Oak Island until a substantial amount of treasure is found. All Treasure was brought by someone, who might have had Old Treasure on them. The chances of finding a Log Book in the Treasure explains everything is Very slim to Mute. But the Chase is great and Thankfully they have most of the resources they need to search Far and Wide. We all are Rooting for them to Find Something Definitive.

    What these soils (and blue clays) show you is that Lot 5 (as said many times to these peeps) is that there was klinker hammer and bench machinery there to do all the rock crushing, ... or clay sedimentation and purification. First, a wooden klinker, then later an iron klinker. This was a (wind direction turning) windmill operation with multiple operations as a (1) klinker, (2) sawmill, pit/gang saw deep pit, fiber crop crushing klinker and tub making textile fibers, dying tub stirring operations, other chemical processes (strategic chemical processing of European dyes), and potential windmill-operated bellows operations for smelting and kilning blacksmithing and chemical purifications (salt, potash and potassium wood salts saltpeter, powdered charcoal, charcoal, smithy briquets, iron pyrite (fool's gold) into iron and sulfur, chemical processing cabbage into sulfur and saltpeter, ... and so much more. All of these various soil layers shows that what happened in the 1700s-1795 period was mining in the eastern drumlin, while processing operation were moved to the western drumlin. Such carts, wagons and oxen would be needed to move material and tailings along some roadway from Lots 17/18 via Lots 16, 15, 14, pass the northern portion of the harbor, into the Lots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5.

    Whatever the Knight’s Templars (or whoever) went to such great lengths to bury on Oak Island…. 1 thing is certain- they never wanted it dug up. So it was of great importance. Something tells me it’s way more important than gold. It could possibly change everything we know about history. They should probably leave it be.

They are shown at 41:39/49:16 of the video. The video ties in a lot of the Viking travel/trade with similar things that have been found on the Island. This group may be a tremendous source of new information as you investigate the Viking influence.

    Follow along with my ridiculous brainstorm here: 1: The Norse traveled the Nova Scotia - FACT 2: Many of Norse began to be converted to Catholicism in the early 8th century - FACT 3: The Norse were excellent navigators and because they had traveled as far as the Middle East, some would’ve spoken the local languages - HIGHLY LIKELY 4: The Norse were fierce fighters and some may have joined the Knights Templar. They already understood their opponents (see #3) - POSSIBLE My goofy theory: On October 13, 1307 when the Knights Templar were supposedly finally defeated, a few Templars, possibly with Norse ancestors with knowledge of Nova Scotia or had the knowledge some other way, traveled to Oak Island and hid treasure including both coinage and documents. I know it sounds crazy, but no crazier than any of the other proposed theories.

    True! Oak Island is in the shape of an elephant. The show doesn't mention the following fact but did you know that Oak Island got its "modern-era" name because it was the only island of the over 360 islands in Mahone Bay that had non-indigenous Canopy Oak Trees. They had their origin from the Mediterranean Region/North Africa and lined the east shore of Oak Island adjacent to Smith's Cove. One "dying" specimen remained in 1958 and the trees are all gone today. Those Canopy Oak Trees were "ancient".

  • @johnwoa

    @johnwoa

    20 күн бұрын

    Interesting question. Probably because of "Who" might have been originally buried/entombed on Oak Island in the Money Pit in the very, very distant past within the alleged Chappell Vault. The general consensus is that "whatever it is" that is buried/concealed at Oak Island is religious in significance. At the time of the 1990's research conducted by the Geological Survey of Canada of the waters adjacent to Oak island AND the submerged shoreline, Oak Island was a quiet place with very little search activity occurring and it appeared to be such a peaceful place that my initial thought was, "Cemetery"--- The final resting place of someone very prominent in world history. Judging from all the different peoples who visited Oak Island throughout the ages from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, Oak Island was a very special, even sacred place. That's probably why there are no cemeteries/graves on Oak Island either before or after the platting into lots in 1762.

    Vikings are peoples, not a culture. People from the inlets (vik, veek). Proto-Germanic U106/R-L48 from about 1,700 BCE. Some I1, I2, R1a. Coastal North Sea Germanic-Scandinavians from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Largely settled in England, but also Orkneys, etc which is probably where the Templars linked up with descendants of Norwegian Vikings, having by then lived for centuries on those islands. Norwegians were on the Orkneys as early as I think 600 CE (pottery). However, in 449 CE, Jutes rowed their keel ships up to the Orkneys as they were founding England. Jutes were Proto- Vikings.

    If you were to look into the composition of the bronze produced by the Romans during the peak of the bronze age you will find that the majority of the copper used to produce that bronze was mined out of the Great Lakes region of the northern United States and southern Canada... Volumetrically Europe nor Asia could have met the demand For the amount of copper needed. Not only that but the unique composition of the copper from north America is precisely the same as that found in the copper used to analyze the bronze cast by the Romans and even the Greeks and Egyptians. Legitimately there was a trade route between Europe and America 1500 to 2500 years prior to the "first Europeans" in the 11th century (Erickson).

    Can't believe 11 seasons of nothing. I had high hopes and interest when the show started but after season six, I gave up. If they studied anywhere else in that area, they could find at least as interesting items.

    Agreed! This past Episode 25 "Worth the Weight" was a big disappointment just like many other "get your hopes up" 'CoOI' disappointments from past seasons. This show is frustrating to watch and now Mr. Marty Lagina is literally going in circles in wanting to drill nine (9) additional boreholes in an area that should have been fully excavated down to the cavern(s) long ago. But again, this show is not about getting definitive answers or solving the Oak Island mystery. That would end the show.........
