Lol y’all a bunch of bitter kids, can’t wait till your wrong when elder scrolls 6 does come out. First of all fallout 76 wasn’t a real BGS game. Second of all Todd Howard recently did an interview that people crave more in depth Rpgs these days and that they’re starting to go back to their roots with Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6. Elder Scrolls 6 has been a long time coming you bet it’s going to be the most in depth game BGS will ever make to date. The fact that they made Morrowind shows their capable. And they were only following trends set by the same people who said Morrowind and oblivion was to complicated to get into. But since there’s a way bigger market for hardcore gamers they now have every reason to make a hardcore Rpg again

@@oppionatedindividual8256 I would actually love to see that in ES6. Maybe have it focus on a setting around 150 years after the events of Skyrim. In my vision the Empire is simply Cyrodiil, what was once the Aldmeri Dominion lost all of their Cyrodiilic holdings after a successful Valenwood insurrection, and the three Northernmost provinces are fully independent. Meanwhile, the Khajiit clans and the Kingdom of Argonia have taken over all of Morrowind, almost all of the remaining Dark Elves are either dead or refugees; maybe they're also seeking help from Skyrim and Hammerfell after scouts find Akaviri expeditionary squads at the edge of Black Marsh. Think of what kind of trailer a game like that would have.

You need a certain book made from the hides of elves and men by a certain Daedric Lord to match.

The Camona Tong are actually a faction responsible for a lot of suffering for a character in my Oblivion campaign. I know the game considers killing the two north of Rugdumph's estate as murders, but I don't feel any sorrow for it.

I always kill every Camonna Tong I find in my playthroughs of Morrowind and Oblivion. It's done without remorse. Just like them.

@@ShealaCZ There are two Camonna Tong thugs living in a camp north of Cheydinhal. Uh, Walker Camp, I think. They buy skooma from the Orum Gang in Cheydinhal. Oghash from the Orum Gang does the drug running every Fredas at dawn, so you can just follow her straight there.

Anyway, I use a mod, as well. I bid you a hearty hello from the Twin Lamps! The slaves must all be liberated from their bindings, and the Cammona Tong's souls must be liberated from Mundus!

Dunmer are never done mer but, ironically these dark elves are very gifted in the dark arts. The puns run as thick as blood.

The way I interpret the word “Forester” in the Dunmeri language is in that it’s a euphemism for someone who’s tough and lives outside town. It may also mean something more like “hunter”, since there’s not many trees around Morrowind. Similar to the German word Jaeger, meaning hunter, also being applied to riflemen in the Napoleonic wars

I think the implication is more that it's better to fell a single tree than risk a forest fire. It's definitely only an insinuation that works because there isn't a need for an actual guild of lumberjacks in Morrowind, but I doubt morag is used as a synonym for frontiersman, especially since wastelanders already fit that role

I learned a lot reading the books and doing several different playthrus with multiple paths. Although my favorite was stealing every item that wasnt bolted down from every home, selling the loot, buying endgame gear and just smacking dagoth ur to death after "acquiring" keening and sunder. No one knew who i was. After which i went to solstheim and became a werewolf and ate all the people and fauna. Then i went to mournhold and murdered everyone. I was an argonian.

On one hand, it can be annoying. On the other hand, the gear: valuable carved ebony darts, second best vanilla light armor (even more valuable), reliable source of the otherwise rare and treasured Daedric Wakizashis at levels 20-29 (absurdly valuable and excellent shortblades). On the other other hand, can be kind of unbalanced in one direction or the other: kinda difficult at young levels, super exploitable at more competent levels. ... Oh, wait; it's narrowly third best light armor if you count the Snow Wolf set, but the Snow Wolf set is pre-enchanted. You could probably counteract the loss of Armor Rating with Fortify Light Armor or Shield enchantments with points to spare to also gain the Resist Frost effects, too.

I think that's it's possible after the eruption of red mountain that the comonna tong survived and spread into other provinces with the dunmer refugees, much like how the Chinese triads spread to American with the wave of Chinese immigrants in the late 19th century.

Could the 'Cammona Tong', be possibly translated as 'The Common Guild'? as it seems like most members would be recruited from commoners mostly who are generally poor to begin with, what do you all think?

I LOVED playing the Thieves Guild BECAUSE of how their rivalry was framed with the Camonna Tong. Just like how I loved the Morag Tong because of how the Dark Brotherhood were used in Morrowind. The Camonna Tong and the Dark Brotherhood were very creepy interactions when I was a kid and new to the game.

God, I miss Morrowind.

Orvas has died many many times at my house so he doesn't make it to the Oblivion Crisis. Even if I am playing another house, I always find an excuse to take a visit to the Dren plantation. I also always take care of the "bad people" at the Balmora Council Club as well as the corrupted members of the Fighter's Guild. The Duke lives unless I want full control of Morrowind. In that case, the King goes, the Duke goes, and Vivec rests in peace (or pieces, your pick).

The Camonna Tong are my least favorite faction of people in Morrowind., bastards won't even let you join them. I never pass up any of the quests that allow me to kill off members of that criminal syndicate and disrupt their business.

Varo is kind of weird because he wants to clean things up in town but he doesn't want to make it official business. Oh yeah he also gets a hit put out on him from the Morag Tong

I have a guess that the Camonna Tong name is self righteous and probably pretty euphemistic, kinda like the Morag Tong. Camonna might mean something like independence, meaning it could be the Independence Guild, as it claims to desire a Morrowind for only the Dunmer.

One could argue that the Hlaalu are prevented from selling Morrowind to the Empire by Orvas Dren rather than Vivec. Then you mention it at 9 minutes haha. This is why organised crime thrives sometimes. They protect the disenfranchised. I've lived in Palermo and currently live very safely above a Triad karaoke bar. As you say he makes a terrible mistake allying with House Dagoth, and that is usually how they end, when they hurt the people they initially helped.

In real life, most (if not all) organized crime groups are xenophobic and nationalistic (to certain extent). Mostly, they care about money and power, though. Any notions about a "moral standard" are usually thrown out if it means upsetting their finances. However, organized crime groups are also much better at honoring their own ethical codes than any government of any country is at obeying the same laws that they force everyone else to obey. The only thing more corrupt and illegal than a criminal organization are the governments that constantly claim they are "bringing them to justice".

Convoyed prisoners always stuck or die on road. Free prisoner is not crime, killed without crime. Characters usually kill and forget what they did. Steal from bandits is bad, but kill and marauder corpse is innocent. Some character unkillable, undead, but they criminals, by their law must be killed. It is not predictable, no logic, what is crime in that world, must check general stats crime every few seconds. Animated general stats is pain, time and money. No kill, how to kill which have no life? Shoot skeleton is kill, banish dead skeleton, no kill. Non direct chain reaction kill is innocent. Stumble on bucket which kill chicken, no kill. No crime, force to attack you, then kill as self defense. Shoot sparks at kettle, kettle hit chicken, no crime, kettle kill, not user. What next, pull trigger, blame bullet, not shooter? Kleptocrats steal safety, safety kill, blame economy, not nationalist mafia 99% economy thieves? Use mind control spider from solstheim to make killed in battle on your side, no crime. Fernik welcome, no lockpick, no crime, then why any lockpick is crime? Many program errors. Stupid character points ruin game more. Unreadable text, transparent, animated, for part of second. Not only load screen, almost every text unreadable. Not hearable voices, many characters speak at same time, or very silent voice. Pain and annoy. Even exit program is pain.

I try not to be racist toward them but I always find myself remembering all the terrible things from Morrowind and just can't help but take pleasure in their misfortune. Oh, you have to stay in the Gray Quarter? Boo hoo. The Argonians can't even enter the city and they still work harder than you.

@@wishbone346 I would gladly live in a place like the Gray Quarter if it meant I could live comfortably in my own home. If some drunkard is spouting obscenities and slurs while walking through the neighborhood, well, Windhelm probably has open sewers. Just dump your day's worth of "refuse" on him from a third floor balcony. Considering how quickly it would freeze onto his clothes and ruin them, would he really do that again? 😂

@@joceybear303 i have. if they aren't following a bunch of narcissistic god-wanna-bes, they are following some pretty malevolent daedra. pelinal had the right idea. both the high elves and the dark elves want the same thing: to return their immortality and rule over what they consider "lesser" races. the only difference is how they go about it. high elves believe mortality to be a curse while dark elves believe it to be a test. other than that, they are same.
