The Witcher’s true curse is having to put up with a god awful control scheme and an inability to jump over small fences and ledges.
The "lycan" part of lycanthrope actually most likely comes from an old Greek tale of King Lycaon. Lycaon basically was given/found a pelt of a wolf that would turn himself into one as a curse. It's the first recorded story that fits into the werewolf tale and mythology.
More Witcher! Can’t wait to listen on my way home from work this morning!
I honestly can't figure out why, but for some reason, the Morkvarg quest filled me with more dread than almost any other quest in the game - even though it's relatively tame! Even when I go to replay I put that quest off because it fills me with anxiety.
I hope you make more Witcher videos, they are great. It is truly fascinating how the Witcher and Elder Scrolls have taken 2 different approaches when it comes to lycanthropes and were creatures.
How does a humble Daedrologist know about the Witcher?
Might be worth it for those abs alone.
Fairy tales usually come with sad, terrible endings. Disney movies changed them to fit "modern" sensibilities.
Werewolves seem pretty lucid for a creature with no memory of their actions.
Just imagine how stupid this can get. Weregiraffe, wereoctopus, werefish, werehamster, wereduck, wereblobfish, werefrog and finally. wereseacumumber.
Witcher Werewolves got the easiest cure ever.
So the Emperor was a Hedge Hog Man?
Neilin's quest was the first time in The Witcher 3 that I had a hard time deciding what to do.
love how curses work in witcher. there was one comic(that happends after witcher 3) where you could see the whole process and how much of an inpact a few words can have.
I love the Witcher videos, Drew always puts such hard work into them and you can tell
I still go back to O’Dimm video. Best Low Key ever. I wondered why werewolves are the way they are.
Thank you for having Witcher content as I'm new to it from the show. Between you, Witcher George, and Proper Bird I'm getting a crash course and am looking forward to the games and books. I love it when a good piece of media lives in other (if different) forms. :)
Damn, I remember this quest. Now I want to start TW3 again.
Why do wicked people always get cursed to become monsters?
Wasnt it the headpriestess of Freyas Garden who cursed Morkvarg?
