Been watching a load of these builds lately for inspiration and think this is my favourite by a long shot. Big up the brew and contemplate method as well, its a crucial part of the process 😂

Cracking climbing frame you've built for your little girl ! Would love to see what changes you've made since you've made it !

Been great watching the progress on this, Tom. Another top quality job. When she's our age Jess will look back fondly on her childhood and remember that awesome climbing frame her Dad built her in the garden to play on as a kid. And you'll probably remember a time you fell off it pissed, lol.

Great job, my granddaughter wants me to build one of these for her. Was all the framing and swing made from 4 x 4 and 4 x 2?? Your advice is much appreciated

hello bud came across you videos doing a little research myself. justa question, did you concrete the posts into the ground or not? i am thinking of making just the one tower (our garden isnt that big) but make it taller and slightly wider but i have 3 boisterous boys and their mother would kill me if, whilst playing, it toppled on to them because i hadnt secured it correctly.

I built it above ground. Then after jumping around on it, I was happy how strong it all was. If it moved too much I would have then added in some supports to the ground. But I was more than happy with the lack of movement it had

I think I spent twice as long designing it in my head than making it. I’m so glad you enjoyed the videos. Good luck on the project, I bet your daughter will love it.

How did you do the very top of the roof? The ridge part? The feather edge right up to the top but how did you make the peak water right?

Just watched this and it is identical to what I imagined in my head for my daughter! In the first video you looked at a £500/600 product. Did you come in under that budget? Thanks

I spend around £500 on wood and about £150 on parts (slide, rock climbing mounts etc) so went a little bit over budget but it beats the £500 one I saw on amazon, so I’m happy as pie.

@@jurassicjunkie oh I agree, I've been looking around to see if buying it as a kit is worth it, and a company that would build to the standard you have i.e thicker treated wood has a similar design for £1200. So I'd say although more expensive than the Amazon product you're well under budget for a like for like. I noticed the way you fixed it in the ground were those 600mm? Spikes. How secure do you think they are going to be over time with them/soil getting wet and movement as all the adults run around on it?

All in all I would say about £700 including parts like the slide etc. The roof is what sent me over budget. But I’m so glad I did it
