Never thaught you would review my one and only watch😂👍🏻
A Citizen Pro-master is the best watch you can get for the money. Not just their dive watches either. The entire Pro-master line is a library of great watches. The dive watches are especially nice. Who else sells a dive watch with a depth gauge? And solar? AND ISO Certified? I love all my Pro-masters. They're great watches.

This has been my one watch collection for some time now. I could not have been more happy with it. Its dead accurate, has a look that goes with almost every situation, and feels real nice in use. Coming from a backpacker background, I was pleasantly surprised that titanium commanded such little extra cost in the watch world, compared to steel. Thanks for the review Nick!

A pawn shop near me has a whole huge tray of 90s/early 2000s Seikos and Citizens. All solar, black dials, weird green lume, two-tone gold/titanium, bizarre case shapes, integrated bracelets... it's worth going in sometimes just to laugh (internally) at the tackiness.
Great to see a review of a titanium watch and I agree we don't see enough of them. In addition to its other useful properties, Ti is hypoallergenic which is a necessity for some.
I might make my new ringtone "Awk... Promaster Diver!"
Great review - covered all the detail and a wider perspective.
Got mine at a Macy's on sale for 65% off and I've been wearing it for 3-4 years (I think I tagged you on Instagram when I got it) , not a single issue to report! Can't say enough good things! Thanks for the video Nick.
I bought this same watch a couple of months ago. Swapped out the bracket with a silicon band which is my preference. Unlike my Seiko diver, I can leave this in drawer for a week or more and it still has the correct time when I take it out again. I can live with the mineral crystal, but yes wish it had a sapphire one and a bigger crown. Being titanium it's light and at 12mm it's thin for diver, so it pretty much checks all the boxes for me and "It might be my last watch".
I had this one for 9 months or so and agree with Nick on everything. A couple more points perhaps: (+) The super titanium really is quite durable, (+) the inner portion of the clasp is nicely milled, (-) the date window is quite small and deep, perhaps due to the eco-drive panel, not the most legible thing, (-) the crown is weirdly small for a diver and feels loose whet setting the time. BTW there are no halflinks in the retail packaging.
My fancy watch is a Rolex GMT Maater II, the rest of my collection are 4 Citizen 2100’s and this wasn’t off my radar but will definitely pick one up! Great review Nick!
This would be a lovely upgrade from the Citizen BN0191-55L you reviewed years back and 'made' me buy. The lume on Citizens is crazy good and mine is still running perfectly although it now looks like its been dragged behind a car for most of its life. Still wish they'd ditch the shiny bits on the bracelet but its good to go as is.
I have the non-titanium version of this watch. It stays well within 5 seconds a month. I moved away from Seiko mechanical movements because they can't hold 25-30 seconds within a day. The Eco-Drive is just excellent. I don't mind the bracelet, but may put a NATO strap on it. Highly recommended watch.

@@Mr.M1STER Seiko are usually much better than this, under 10 seconds a day, the only Seiko that I had that wasn't accurate was my SKX007 that had the older movement, my Seiko Samurai loses ~6 seconds a day. My Swiss Rado Captain Cook (ETA movement), by comparison, gains about 6 seconds a day
I have the affordable Citizen Promaster Diver and I have been eyeballing on this one as a step for an upgrade from that!
I bought a tempered glass protector for the crystal for my promaster BN151. It fits perfectly. No bubbles. Apparently it fits this BN0200. This watch should have a diver extension (although in the ocean single pass nylon straps are more secure) and sapphire crystal. But I found it barely used for $152. I tried it on at Macy’s, initially it looked boring, but I liked it more when on my wrist. I would not pay 300 or more for it, but under 200 I considered it.

I have the Blue sunburs dial, yellow seconds hand, glossy bezel variant, its my favorite watch.
How does one know if it's not getting enough light for a full charge? Is there a way to check the % of charge?
I just ordered the orange dial version. It's called BN0200-05X. My first diver and titanium watch ever....I've read conflicting reviews and opinions on titanium. Will treat my new piece right but will have to serve its purpose.

Thank you for sharing the weight. I was going crazy looking for it. You'd think Citizen would have it in huge letters on the product listing.. You'd think other reviewers would weight it. Nope. 96grams really is light for a 44mm diver on a bracelet. nice
Wow, I am really tempted
Hey Nick great review. Thanks. Might try to dive with this. I’ll be one of the ten. 😁
picked one of these up for $275 brand new. Great value for that price.
I bought one barely used for $200. I was pretty "meh" when I first got it and figured I'd flip it after a month or two, but it surprisingly grew on me after a while. It's a comfortable daily driver due to the light weight, the lume is decent, and the eco-drive is great. My only real gripe is the bezel needs more resistance. It's easily moved by accident. Not sure if it's a long term keeper, but I'm enjoying it for now. No way I'd drop $500 on it though.

I bought one open box. I have not worn it. I wish it had a orange minute hand or second hand. I wonder if I should flip it and get a Seiko Solar BN589. I like the titanium, but i wish this was 2mm smaller.
I just bought a nh 8389-88le I hope it’s a good watch they’re going to size it for me as I have a very large wrist so where right around 8 1/4 to 8 1/2 inches or so at no extra cost it looks nice it came to $203.76 with tax. I hope I didn’t get ripped off.
can the crystal be changed with a sapphire crystal?
Citizen has its own interesting designs. Check out the titanium "Orca" eco-drive.
I have the Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster Air Diver's PMX56-2811, which is very similar to this watch except that it has numerals on the face. I've had it for about 10 years with no problems except for some scratches on the inside edge of the aluminum bezel, which is the highest point of the sloped bezel. The watch is so light I hardly know I'm wearing it.
Great looking watch.
Is this watch truly titanium? Or is it merely aluminum with some sort of titanium coating?
I recently got into watches and already have several Citizens and Seikos. One of the Citizens is BN0191-80L. What I understand the only mechanical difference between that model and the one in this review is the bracelet material. And all promasters are truly tested for water resistance to the stated depth, right? By the way: it's interesting that several of Citizen's, Seikos' and Orient's diving watches look so similar so one could suspect they are in fact made in the same factory!
Does anyone know the difference between the 56e and the 81e? Thank you!
Is it good for 6.65 inches wrist?
I got a bm6560 titanium eco drive for christmas from my father. I'm happy with it works like a charm. I do agree with the point on ti being a warmer steel.
The pro master dive series is a bit like standard Delica. It’s not super exciting but it’s good at what it does, it’s a good value, and hardly anyone would actually be unhappy with it.
I have this watch an I think it’s pretty awesome. All my watches are titanium. 7 inch wrist an fits perfect. Had to take 3 links out to fit. Great watch for 330 bucks.

I want one of the new omega X swatch watcheswatches. I know it’s ridiculous but it’s the only way I’ll ever be able to afford an Omega anything. I don’t know if I’ll be able to find one though,,,however. These Citizen pro masters look very 👍 nice
Sent a promaster titanium to citizen years ago for service under warranty WITH the bracelet attached. They send it back with a steel link that connects the bracelet to the watch itself. My wife says you be the reason I have a Seamaster. But the watch I wear around the house is a Citizen’s Eco, like $109. Works good and keeps a charge forever.
I wore this watch on a NATO for 6 months. I sold it. Press in on the bezel and it won't turn. Sand seized it up worse than any dive watch I have ever owned (9 and counting). Crown is way too small. Very hard to read the date. Lume was great. Watch hands were hard to get used to. Consider a seiko solar dive watch, (not a tuna solar). I did. It's running great. 8 months, 6 seconds fast. None of these issues. I'm glad a changed it out.
I have this in black PVD steel and love it.

@@Larry-gs8gb Not at all. I’ve had it about 2 years and wear it a few times per week. Still looks almost new.
My go-to work watch is a Promaster Tough which is steel with Supertitanium coating and has a sapphire crystal. The coating isn't scratchproof like the crystal, but it is considerably less scratchable than my other Citizen's uncoated stainless. My two complaints are lume that is bright and beautiful but not lasting, and a date window that is not only small but deep-set.
Nick you crack me up. : ) Thanks, this is the second time I've viewed this. I decided to buy it on your recommendation. And I didn't pay retail. Great review Nick! I own this same watch from 2018 and it's been great. In 19 I got married in Jamaica and as a wedding gift I upgraded my dive licence with PADI to advanced. The instructors digital dive watch had broke several days before and so we used tables to dive with. That means I got to use my actual dive watch to time my dives! I completely agree with the bracelet; it's lazy and crap. I also agree with the crystal as I scratched mine last year on something so subtle I didn't notice till later in the day. In listening to how this man speaks, I’d say he makes an excellent schmaltz.
Why are the entire hands lumed?
For the price, not having a sapphire crystal glass makes this watch a deal-breaker. If it had a sapphire crystal glass I would definitely buy it. It should be noted that the eco-drive technology on this watch is much more accurate than a top of the range automatic Rolex watch. Another point is if Rolex watches are serviced every few years, they can literally last hundreds of years. Citizen claims their latest eco-drive watches can last more than 50 years, though I suspect the cheaper mineral glass will be covered in scratches. So on balance, the Rolex would be a better option, despite the massive price tag. If Citizen had included a sapphire crystal glass then I think it would have been a viable cheap alternative to the Rolex Submariner.
