Is hawks fans are beyond excited. Maybe no playoffs yet but definitely trending in the right direction after 3 rough years.
Teuvo was one of the main reasons why I became a hurricane fan, and I'll miss him greatly seeing him as a Caniac... On the other hand Chicago was my first ever team and he was apart of that 2015 run and returns as an even better player than before. I am torn
Kyle From Chicago really knocked the free agency out of the park. He may not have brought in the biggest names, but the guys he got for the amount of money and term of contract I think was excellent. Bert and Turbo should really shine as they take on the big roles they are about to assume. Playoffs are still a pipe dream, but if the majority of the team can stay healthy this season who is to say they can make it an interesting push for a wild card spot at the end of the season. Couldn't be more pumped for the season to start! LET'S GO BLACKHAWKS!!

As a Chicagoan, I am happy the team has now signaled an end to tanking for draft position. We’re no longer a cap floor team. Likely no playoffs still, but probably at least a 20-25 point improvement.
These are bridge signings to help carry the Hawks through until they hit the legitimate contender stage of the rebuild.

Hawks did great today. Didn’t wildly overpay for any of these players. Much improved team. Probably means Nazar and Slaggert start the season in Rockford which is just fine for their development.
I really hopeful that Bert can have a breakout season in Chicago! I love that guy he was very well liked in Toronto! It would’ve been awesome to have him back, but this team really needs to use the money wisely and unfortunately the price tag on him didn’t fit what he was bringing to the team. Don’t get me wrong. He had his moments. That’s absolutely he did for the majority of the season. He was not there. He was not present.He was pretty good in the playoffs but… it all comes down to his price tag if he was willing to sign a team friendly price and to be used well situationally on this roster then that would be a no-brainer. But this team like I said needs to use the money wisely and if signing Bert at high price meant not being able to sign, etc. you gotta let Bert go. I’m really happy for Chicago and for Bedard and for Bert! I want to see them have success. I want to see Bard some guys can play with Fino just is not cutting it.
We should be better perhaps a fringe playoff team 12 through 8 spot or fighting for an 8th spot

Don't wish the Hawks or Bertuzzi any misforture but his tenure in Toronto was very meh, Stats of 4.3m player despite top 6 minutes.

Hawks will finish 6th in their division, no playoffs and another top 10 pick. Moron, I mean Maroon will show the young ones how to dance on skates while pretending to fight. Martinez and Turbo can't stay healthy, same as Hall. These are players that should be signed when you're playoff ready. Really questioning Kyle from Chicago's decisions both with the #2 draftpick and todays moves.
