I chose the sheep pattern to remind her of the funny antics you all got up to during lockdown. Also, if you look inside Nic's mug it says "Please shut the gate" because during one failed attempt to move the sheep someone forgot to close the gate and they all ran back to the starting point 🙈🤣 I try to make sure the gifts match the receivers likes or interests so it was a wee challenge selecting Mr. Elusive's gift. I am delighted to hear that he liked the Single Malt Chocolates and got a giggle from the sheep mug. Phew!! 😁 Loved Antoine's ensemble with the peacock apron and matching clutch bag. He is a great character and a wee gentleman.

The gifts were appreciated but the volume coming in was huge. It made me sad but I could understand. Maybe Nic has concerns as the channel grows it may become unmanageable. Hope Not. Cheers!

The objections of a few may ruin the joy of many. Would you consider editing your viewing and not the channel content?

Yes, @SMG, it has never occurred to me that they could be or should a couple. They just have a beautiful connection and I really enjoy watching when they're together. Like you, I get super cringey when viewers keep trying to make romantic love connections or the latest, implying Stephanie should try to have a child. Yikes 🙄

Oh Isabel you melted my heart & brought tears to my eyes. A mother’s love is sooo wonderful. No matter where ones child goes a mother always frets. Reminds me of when my daughters visit. I just about cry every time when they leave,. Good to see you & Michael reunited. ❤️

Stephanie makes me want to have more fun. I bought a new bedspread and looking at dishes and even purchased a dress from the thrift shop. Stephanie can also be Miss Peacock from Clue for Halloween with that 👛. Love it!

I found your mother so sweet when she didn't want you to depart for Michael's. Very nice how Michael received you at his castle and... of course... your tiara was flamboyant, as you often are!!!

You’ve created a lovely extended family without fertility enhancement. Antoine has an amazing opportunity to learn from so many and to share laughs with them. Everyone needs a tiara and an apron. I appreciate your vlogs during a tough time in NYC and many cities in the US right now. Watching you sitting in a bucolic setting drinking champagne makes me happy. I was talking to a friend today and she was walking around a fairly deserted area of Central Park yesterday and came upon a large group of nudist napping in the sun (would the term be a flock or a brace of nudist?). Watching you vlogs is a bit like her discovery since we never know what we are going to see - and sometimes it’s quite wonderful and fun.

I love you two and I'm so happy to hear you laugh and make plans. Mummy is adorable and such an inspiration to me as she is only a few years older than me. I think she can run circles around me. Marie is such a beautiful woman with a gorgeous smile and Antoine is surely going to be missed when the family eventually leaves for home. I'm excited to hear that Selmar is staying on for awhile, as he has become a part of the Chateau.

I love watching The Chateau Diaries, I was very lucky to have stay there last year and was supposed have stay again at the end of April but that got cancelled so it will have to be another time. I also met Stephanie, Isabelle, Percy and Gerry and they are just the same as you see them in the vlogs. I live in the UK so it is very easy for me to travel there. Take care Ruth and stay safe.

I LOVE when you open the gifts! Mummy it’s so awesome! I lost my mom 11 years ago this month (I was 24) so watching your relationship with mummy warms my heart so much! ❤️

I just love everyone in Stephanie’s life. Antoine is such a sweet young boy and I love when he is there helping open up the all the gifts, his mom Marie is a beautiful woman with a sweet nature. I am so glad that The château has a gardener and Selmer who is so so talented and all that he’s able to do and a joy to listen to. Hi, I just had to comment and say I'm 42 and my two boys are aged 2 and 4 years old and I'd still consider having another if it was right for us. And I also know women having babies naturally into their late 40s. But you have to really want it, it's very rewarding, but very hard work. Great vlog, I've been following along with yours and Michael's vlogs the last few weeks.

SMG oh I totally agree, I would have been mortified if it was me. I used to get lots of comments about settling down, that it was about time I did, that I was too fussy, that I needed a man in my life. I used to hate those comments. But I also don’t like people assuming women are too old to have a baby once they’re past 35. She didn’t say that, but lots of people do think that. And I’m the same age as the lady who sent a gift who had grown boys. But at 42 my boys are little more than babies. No assumptions here, just making a point that it’s not too late if that’s what she wants.
