I got my Lady of Lalande letter in the mail today and I am a bit embarrassed to say how excited I was! Thank you for being so personable and sharing your life and work with us. It has brought me a lot of peace and solace during the quarantine to watch you all and imagine I am in the countryside of France instead of outside Washington DC trying to figure out how to teach third-graders virtually!

Yes but I feel mommy and her husband had worked long hours to run the Alzheimer's nursing facility that there wasn't the chance to enjoy any money made. Just my thoughts. Bless her heart. Nice to enjoy a few luxuries even later in lufe

I've been to Avignon and it was absolutely stunning. So fun to see it through your eyes. I can't express how much I enjoy Isobelle and how silly she is. Her dead pan is flawless and delightfully wicked at the same time. Thank you for the little road trip!

Oh, Catskills have been on my bucket list since the 70's (since the dark book series by VC Andrews...don't recall the name ..Oh, Flowers in the Attic lol) ..have not been that far north yet.

That was just amazing. I have seen many travel documentary's but I have never felt as if I was on the travels, but this was so amazing because I felt as if I was on the two day get-away with you three. Thank you so much Stephanie

Wonderful! I really enjoyed seeing these other sights of France along with a good old fashioned girl's weekend filled with shopping and dining. Absolutely gorgeous fabrics and clothing and shoes!

The prices on the hotel menu were quite reasonable. There are several restaurants near me in Wisconsin that charge similar amounts. But 69€ per kilo for that cheese rather took my breath away. The hotel is enchanting. You should find out who made their wallpapers. The light switches were fascinating to me. (I'm a guy). Electrical devices in America are all pretty much the same; Europeans have some truly artistic designs. Did you tour the Pope's Palace or did you spend all your time eating and shopping? I love your tours. I took French for two years in school and never went. This is delightful for me.

actually, all Quebec cheeses are about 65 to 75 Euro per KG at the local groceries shop, I know it is expensive but it is the price here in Montreal for normal good cheese.

@@acarriere8534 Plus, didn't she say it was truffle cheese? That is always more expensive, and I think when she went shopping with her friend's sister, she bought cheese that was equally expensive. I probably couldn't afford the sample!

I can not possibly express how completely delighted and gobsmacked by OUR trip. You should see what I bought!! And the HOTEL. I have seen many of the grand hotels of London but this one TOPS them all Merci merci merci.
