The Burpee Routine Where I BELIEVED I Could Do It

There are so many things that go into you and I having a good workout. Perhaps above all else, there is one thing that each of us can personally bring to our workouts, which will ultimately lead to us having success.
Good or bad, every workout is an opportunity for you and I to learn something about ourselves. I certainly am grateful for learning this one lesson today!
Here in this video, we are still chasing 120 10 count navy seal burpees in 20 minutes ‪@busydadtraining‬

    Richard man, first of all, big congrats on the progress with your own training man. That’s really great to hear brother👊! And yeah, I’m not overly excited about the 6 counts but hopefully I can muster the courage to embrace 20 minutes of pain haha.     What’s up Alex man👊. Well, another work is over my friend. I appreciate the support on form. Some of the reps, especially towards the end when I was tired, could definitely have been better, imo. And I feel confident too, heading into the 6 count workout. I’ll be think of you for sure when I’m in the suck of that workout👊🫡.

    I am glad you enjoyed the view. I also love the scenery where we are in Labrador. It also encouraging to hear that you find the channel helpful. That’s exactly what I am hoping to do with these workouts. Simple show other people that they too can experience great physical and mental health, all through doing burpees and bodyweight exercises.     @@DavidWhitten Wow!!! Labrador is on the island of Newfoundland. Is it the easternmost part of Canada? Very northern the weather must be extremely cold. St. John's is an old city and must be very beautiful. The nature high in the mountains overlooking the Atlantic Ocean must be very beautiful and romantic. Are there still moose in nature? The Christmas festival must be a very beautiful and grand atmosphere. I like looking at beautiful natural views like this. Brother David will take you to see the natural scenery as well. Go to the mountain with beautiful views and Brother David also does burpees, is that good?

    Hey Richard👊. Man I don’t think it matters if the counts are high or low. If you’re working hard and maxing out your effort, that’s what counts in my opinion anyway. And yeah, I’m looking forward to obtaining and then putting that brown shirt through a proper hard workout😀👍. Now I just need to get those 275 6 counts.     I don’t know brother, I really dislike the 20 minutes of pain that inevitably comes with 6 counts. It’s definitely encouraging knowing fellas like you are rooting for me!! And I’m glad you liked the background. I’ll try and find a another nice location for the next video😉👍.

    Oh yes, burpees always bring the heat🥵. Views have been up for sure over the last few videos. We will see how long that lasts for🤷‍♂️. I’m gonna try and get your manic routine in here this week, now that the busy dad stuff is done👍.

    Did my first 100 Navy Seals incorporating a short trot on the spot, two punches first to the stomach and then to the shins before squatting down to get into press up position. Amazing feeling of accomplishment because when I started I could hardly do 5 reps let alone 100 💯...seeing you go above hundred in the standard form is very motivating 💯

    Hey brother thanks for that. Now I’ve just got to get those 275 6 counts done👍. And yeah, give the nice even pacing a try. 5 reps every minute, or 1 rep every 12 seconds gets you 100 reps in 20 minutes. I’ve even enjoying watching your progress brother. Keep up the good work👊!

    Well you certainly know all about persistence brother! But you are so right. When we did our last colab, I could only hold 6 reps a minute for 6 minutes and that was sooo hard. Definitely sticking with it and being consistent is the key. Cheers brother. Thanks for the example you set yourself!

    Here’s a good one for you to try. 10 1 pumps, 10 2 pumps, 10 3 pumps, 10 4 pumps, 10 5 pumps, 10 6 pumps. Then back down, 10 6 pumps, 10 5 pumps etc…420 pushups and 120 burpees

    I literally did one very similar. 10 1 pumps, 10 2 pumps, 10 3 pumps, 10 navy seals, 10 4 pumps, 10 5 pumps, 10 double navy seals. All with a weighted vest and did 3 pull-ups after every 10 and 10 curls after every 10z

    Yeah that does sound like a good one for sure. I haven’t done a workout like that in awhile. I’ve done the ladder from 1-10 pumps before along with the same number of squats.     Yes for sure Simon man. They certainly are a lot more challenging then they may look. The seal reps add up quickly indeed. Some days too brother, I think the mental game is tougher then the physical one. I think someone of your own experiences (both in life and in our training) would agree with that👊.

    Dox man, what can I say to all that🤷‍♂️! DAMN! What an absolutely epic comment! Humbled and grateful brother! I’m glad you picked up on a few little things like the cup and the shirt. The burpees cup is literally strategically placed in a lot of the videos👍. And the shirt was for the kids really. To infinity and beyond😉👌. I also love living rural and even more so by the ocean. Peaceful and calming really man. Definitely something I’m grateful for. No doubt!! Definitely had to aim the rockets at the mat too😂👌. As for all the head down and soldering on stuff, for the bit we’ve talked, I know that how you roll too brother. And the 6 count slaying will be out tomorrow or Sunday. Like last week, you went on for like 10 minutes and then were like, ahh shit, I’ve been rambling for far to long😂. Already on the good stuff haha😅. And 100% on the takeaway! There’s only 2 places to choose from here so a lot of times we just buy junky stuff and cook it ourselves. But the sentiment is still the same bro.     💥 I knew you had it 💥 It gets really tough at the end there, but once you are that deep in and that close you just don’t give up 👍 You are so right about that focus/clarity doing 10 secs and 1 mins at a time brings. Although if I’m being honest, I don’t mind the seals. The 6 counts is a totally different story haha. I’m confident you know what I’m talking about👊.

I tell you what’s harder then this seal routine… hanging for any length of time with one hand. Seconds Gym, seconds!! I’m lucky to hold it for mere seconds😂.     @@DavidWhitten just a bit of trap bar , I got 300 on it, it's easy on the back compared to straight bar. Got a bunch of busted up street slab in the backyard I've been picking through, the one peice I got is a mofo to pick up. Very awkward it's gotta be 200 lbs or more, then I got a stump Ive been doing back toss with. Planning on adding a large log that I can flip too. Pretty fun! Something different for sure!
