Just watched all 3 of these Pete, such a good idea and you're such a driving member of the forum. I haven't been on there for years, think I just got overload with being on so many forums and in so many groups and pulled it back consciously - also I was finding it hard to deal with the same questions being asked over and over without people trying to find the existing answers, but then that's the same everywhere!! Good pick on the bikes - have to agree about the Goldwings 😆

I hope some of the other members get involved, the forum is a great place... just a bit quiet. The internet is huge, it is difficult to maintain a presence across it all, even with a hobby we enjoy. Forums are a dying thing sadly, I think they are much more useful as a community builder than Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but are quite old fashioned now and not an instant gratification thing. Haha, I love Shadetree's channel, but them Golwings can get in the sea! 😀

Never speak ill of the Goldwing! 😅🍻

Great choices on those two Triumphs! I see where Shadetree fits into it now. Nothing like a sweet 1980s Goldwing Aspencade! 🤣 I’m sure they’re great bikes, they just don’t inspire any kind of reaction in me!

Thanks Mark... the 765 is an amazing bike, especially in yellow. Hahaha...Josh/Shadetree is an awesome dude, but the Goldwings were and are pigs, I am absolutely amazed that they keep running at all in his vids! :-D

Most of the older goldwings have died through workshops not wanting to touch them due to their complexity. You will most likely find them parked up in a garage somewhere waiting for the owner to sort them. But when they run, they are amazing. Would love to have a run on a new Rocket 3. They look so much better than the predecessor.

That sounds about right, I guess that is why they are so cheap, unfinished projects. I agree, the old Rocket didn't do a lot for me styling wise, but the new one looks amazing!

Good choices. I wish I had more time to dig into the forum but between creating videos, watching videos and trying to earn a living, there's not much time left. And these people who call themselves "family" or something keep interrupting me too 😂

Hahaha 😀 The Speed Triple is a beast... but have heard folk have had electronic issues with them, and the Street Triple has plenty enough poke for me... not that I have plans for any of them LOL 😀

Hahaha... it is all just for fun, and we all like different things... so disliking someones bike is something most folk should have thick enough skin to hear... and if it drives someone to check out their channel to see... then it is win win... but, there are also lots of members who have not logged in for a few years too! ;-) hahaha... ok I might have cheated a little 😀

I remember first seeing Shadetree Surgeon turn up on my channel when he had about 100 subscribers. He's grown his channel slightly since then! 🤣 But I haven't seen a video of his for years! I lost interest once he started becoming popular and stopped interacting with us less popular channels. Teapot and others reckon that the new Goldwings handle well for big bikes. I'm not sure about the older ones though. But I do know that they are ugly!!! 🤣

I remember him playing one of my early vids in the background on a talking head vid he did, I was like wow, how has he heard of little ol' me 🤣 I very much enjoy his humour and poetic babble, I don't watch as much of his stuff these days as he is no longer riding the dirt or doing those fun talking head vids, but do have a good binge every now and then. Yeah the new Goldwing is supposedly an incredible bike.
