Aye, I was expecting the new tyre to be the one struggling for grip, but with the rear running road pressure and having also stiffened up the rear suspension, it was the back That was twitchy

Good stuff, Pete. I've been a member of the forum for ages, but haven't really been active. I find that just doing the content, watching the content and doing some promotion on my own social medias already takes enough time, and I have to reserve some for the people I live with too... Those puddles looked like Himalayan-killers 😂😂

I have not been offroading of course, but on tarmac I found Metzeler to be inferior to Bridgestone. Metzeler lasts longer, but that comes at a price in cold weather and rain. Are you happy with them?

That's interesting. I'm primarily a road rider and found the Metzeler Z8 superior to the OEM S20s that my Kawasaki Z1000SX came with, especially in the cold and wet (I ride all year round). Pirelli Angel GT2's replaced the Z8s after 10k miles and have just come to the end of their life. I think Michelin Road 6 will be going on next. Just my experience. Yours may very well be different. It's good that we have so much choice tyre-wise, as some suit some riders better than others. Wishing you safe riding.

Haha... Next week's video is all about this! Not how good the various tyres are but about tyre brands rather than models. The Karoo 4 is def not as good as the RallZ was in the mud, but is acceptable. It is a huge amount better on tarmac to them though.
