I've seen a few with numbers. I had thought about getting my channel logo made up to go in the yellow as a decal, but not sure about that at the mo. Thanks mate, I'm so chuffed with it 🙂

😀Cheers mate, I think I love it already as much as, if not more than I did my V7! I think it is utterly crazy that Yamaha doesn't sell it in the USA... it'd sell like hot cakes. Thanks mate, I ordered this at the beginning of December after sitting on it at EICMA in Milan, it has been a hella-long wait! No Iron Man here 😀

Yeah... it took me around 300 miles to get a bit more used to it... my back is gradually accepting it can bend that way! 😀 Great to hear that you are getting more used to your new beasty Adam 🙂

Thanks mate, I struggled with my Gixer's riding position, less so on this so I think it must be a little less racey, but it does feel similar.

I used to ride those types of bikes, nothing fun is legal and it is over 150 miles to the closest close circuit to ride one on. It makes me miss my GSXR 750.

Thankfully Brands Hatch is well under an hour away from me... and I'm not as fast as I once was, so on the road, I can still have fun at semi-sensible speeds... although the reason I sold my last Gixer was because it was too fast and too uncomfortable! :-D Hopefully I'll work around those issues with this bike! :-D

Congratulations Pete ! I do love how this bike looks and it is probably a bike that should hold its value well. I never considered getting one myself because a) too expensive and b) not practical ( that riding position ! ). But I can totally understand how a more impulsive person might be tempted to pull the trigger on buying one 😂 I hope your body becomes malformed enough to find this bike comfortable over time and that it brings you lots and lots of enjoyment in the years to come. @@HippoDrones Just be careful and make sure that you ride the 8S and the Toerag from time to time, otherwise you could eventually become so deformed that you find "normal" riding positions completely unbearable ! 😂 Enjoy your lovely selection of bikes mate. So many bikes and only one arse. It's a real dilemma, isn't it ? 😝

@@HippoDrones Yep, I figured that the V7 was helping to pay for it Pete 🙂 I intended to expand to three bikes this year but I really can't justify it. I barely ride the two that I already have, so getting a third bike would just make things worse. I need more time before I can consider more bikes, unfortunately 🤷‍♂ Since I can never afford to retire, I think I'll be stuck with a lack of free time and just two bikes for quite a while ! Keep maintaining that glorious arse to saddle ratio mate 👍🏻😂 Garry

Subscribed and liked - thanks for the content. That P&H Motorcycles is also my local dealer, got my Suzuki GSX-8S from them recently. I am a new rider and spend alot of time riding solo as the biker group I know (my family) are all based up north. Do you go to Rykas much? I am hoping to meet some bikers there - I tried to join a Facebook group for biker meets but I think I need to have met someone in person at Rykas first. Cheers

I feel that way about trail riding, only really properly started doing that a few years ago 🙂

Thanks Paul 🙂It is a hella-lotta bike for the money... yeah, the exhaust is way overpriced, although is a good bit cheaper direct from Akra, and then also has a removable baffle and cat. I also prefer the half fairing look too, so not fussed about the fairing lowers in the pack. It is utterly delicious... at least to me 😀

@@HippoDrones Don't worry about the riding position...couple of paracetamol before you set off....few beers and maybe a 'wee dram' when you get home, paracetamol before bed...🤣 Jobs a good 'un....🤣 65 last month, first 'proper' ride out of the season today, 😲 bang on 200 miles around Shropshire and Powys....with 'clip on' bars.... over 6 hours riding. I prefer the 'old triangle' riding position, riding with all my weight on the bottom of my spine would have me in bits.

@@HippoDrones 🤣🤣🤣 First ride out of the year was to the MOT station as the bike was SORN'd..... the rain was bouncing off the floor....I got soaked and the bike looked like it had been ridden around the World by the time I got back...🙁 Go easy on the Ibuprogen, my Mom was prescribed it for years in high dosage.... It's not good for you...Just sayin....Enjoy your new bike!

That does not look road legal, from the front, at all. The paint job and fairing shape and everything clearly says racing bike. The headlight is fitted quite nice in there.
