    I mean I would not stay with someone just because I am scared of perceived 'wasted time' but once I have broken up with that person I just have to keep up with self-improvement and choose smarter next time. To assume someone has trauma from a relationship just suggests that was an unhealthy relationship, would it be preferable for them to remain in that scenario? You can break up with someone but feel overall positively about the situation and acknowledge the situation just no longer served its purpose

  • @wayando

    @wayando

    11 ай бұрын

    Since staying with someone is a choice, and generally we want to make good choices, and we want to believe we make good choices (we are good people doing good things) ... When we break up, we have to go back inside and "find out" why the choice was wrong. Because a breakup is technically a failure. - Some people are not capable of going back inside themselves. So they have to blame the other person + try to erase the experience with the other person ... And this can grow into a "mind virus" in which they never take responsibility for their action - which is not a good outcome long term. - Some people can go inside and take years and years to find the answer. And in the meantime if they get involved with a person they would repeat the same behaviors over and over ... And when they do find the answer they would be a lot older, which is a huge disadvantage for women. - Finally a few people can go inside and actually find the answer and correct the bad choice ... Thereafter they can get into a better relationship. These people end up being better. The problem is that "going inside" is a huge hurdle ... And "finding the answer" is also another huge hurdle ... And to get both right is normally improbable without outside help. And since we modern humans don't live in tight communities the result is that the vast majority of people end up traumatized by breakup rather than grow up. Solution: We learn to coexist respectfully with different types of people with different roles ... The different people will point out faults in us that we can't see ourselves, and we can then be aware and work on them ... Also when existing in these groups/ communities we are able to be assisted with finding answers to personal dilemmas since it's very likely multiple people in our circle already solved the riddle. The issue with modern women is that firstly they think they are always right. So they can do no wrong ... And secondly they try to do everything themselves (being independent) so they each end up in loops and with the help of technology they spread their problems out into the world by spreading destructive world views.

    I don't know if I said it in this clip or another clip that I watched but here's another woman saying that she wants to be prepared if the relationship ends she wants to be able to take care of herself if the man leaves, why are you banking on the man leaving, why are you setting yourself up to fail. Maybe you should have more faith in the relationship and instead of trying to make a way out try to make a way of making your relationship last longer and make it better

    I've NEVER met a woman who earned a good living who could MANAGE their money. A VERY good friend I grew-up with in Church works at the Whirlpool plant in Tulsa making range fronts all day, has two grown kids and makes 40 grand a year and is almost bankrupt for no GOOD reason. She pisses away her money on STUPID things, a four bedroom apt. (three rooms are full of junk) when she could OWN a house for MUCH LESS! She's paying nearly $5K a month plus a grand in utilities-she could BUY a $330,000 house for LESS. She keeps repairing a POS car instead of replacing it, and paying the HIGHEST insurance sold on it! I showed her where she could get insurance for a YEAR for what she's paying for a MONTH-she does nothing. She THRIVES on interia in her life. I don't like change either, but not to where it's self-destructive! At least she doesn't piss it away like my late sister did on cosmetics! I've seen Marilyn drop $400 at a beauty supply on nail care products for a MONTH! She spent more time on her nails than most people do on raising their kids! But after her husband died a HORRIBLE death from a rare disease, Marilyn was clinically depressed and untreated and spiraled down-another story.

    This is something they don’t factor in. A guy can cheat do his wife dirty but wants the benefit of coming home to his wife and access to kids everyday . Men compartmentalize better. As a Nigerian you will see this happen a lot back in the day because the woman had no means and will accrue Shame from community for being divorced. The men will cheat have other kids with other women and physically abuse wife if need be because of the relaxed judicial system . The men like to present in public as married to save face even if woman is miserable . I saw this with my own parents and many friends and relatives .
