When I visited it last year I was SO DISAPPOINTED. You are becoming an Islamic country overtaken by Albanian minority. Thank you but no thank you.

In the name of all Macedonians in Bulgaria, we want to thank you for this. For us, it's our reality to face discrimination by Bulgaria in all aspects of daily life. We cannot form our own organisations, parties, tv channels and radio shows. Many lose their jobs if they declare themselves as Macedonians. Those that declare themselves as such are also subjected to daily harassment from authorities and nationalist citizens.
Another ... with the snout in the trough, obviously. Doing very well for himself. And nobody and nothing else...

This MEP shows a clear lack of knowledge about the relationship between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Bulgaria does not block the process of North Macedonia's accession in the EU. The political elite of North Macedonia does.
