I have what old people get, those fragile bone, and i have strong supplements, on prescription, due to chemo use.... And no doctor told me this crash between vitamin d and melatonium. Cannot trust my doctors, its sad to realize...

For me it acts like melatonin. I can’t take vitamin D because it sends me to sleep for the whole day.

Vitamin D is absorbed through K2. Please start taking K2. Early in the morning with your meal or meals.

Thanks Doc! .. great advice ... i've taken Vitamin D in conjunction with zinc late evening & i coulnd't sleep for the life of me , i had to toss & turn til it finally wore off & my tiredness came back. It's like a drank coffee or something.. Now i know better... Ok , take care , God Bless Doc 👐🏼🙏🏼

I am vitamin D deficient I try my best to sit in the Sun for at least 20 minutes a day and that helps only in the summertime and I'm so grateful for this information because I used to take it at night and I would also take the supplement w/o food so this info really assisted me

Oh!! Thank You Dr I was for a while taking with evening meal but not now I take after lunch as my morning intake breakfast isn’t very much and lunch time have a small bowl of mixed nuts with dark chocolate grapes and peppermint tea 🫖

Try an Emulsified liquid vitamin D it absorbs better and is faster at raising your levels

@@dw5040 you are welcome. I use Biotics Research vitamin D/K emulsified liquid drops under my tongue and it works very well. I was severely deficient in vitamin D and went to a functional medicine Dr. and this is what he had me take. It's not cheap but works great. Feel so much better having optimal vitamin D level now! I did exactly that and was wondering why I couldn’t sleep. Was frustrated coz I had to come to work this morning. I took vitamin D and melatonin together. Never again. Thanks Doc for always coming through for us. Just got some coffee to see me through the shift.

Very true about vitamin D! My doctor (OBGYN)told me years ago to take it for fighting disease. I take 2,000 units after dinner. 👍🏻

Some doctors says you should take vitamin K2 only if you take more then 1000iu of vitamin D every day..

I did exactly that and was wondering why I couldn’t sleep. Was frustrated coz I had to come to work this morning. I took vitamin D and melatonin together. Never again. Thanks Doc for always coming through for us. Just got some coffee to see me through the shift.

Very true about vitamin D! My doctor (OBGYN)told me years ago to take it for fighting disease. I take 2,000 units after dinner. 👍🏻
