    I had a stroke about 8 months ago. The doctor told me he didn’t know why? Of course they wanted to put me on meds but after the hospital stay I got off of them. I wasn’t about to stay on meds the rest of my life. I am 69 have NEVER BEEN ON MEDS! I couldn’t keep my blood pressure under 180/88 UNTIL YOU!!!! My blood pressure was 136/82 today, PRAISE GOD!!!!     @@matchamag4279 Calm magnesium 2 x a day with cinnamon, cayenne pepper on my food, lemon in my magnesium and green tea, Ashwagandha 3 x a day and I’m not sure if this helped cause I just started it CBD. This is what helped me but pray about it and see if you need something different. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊😊 If I forgot anything I will let you know 😊💕🇺🇸

    I think I forgot to tell you about the EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL I put it on my vegetables and the cayenne pepper, 2 or three shakes.

    That's the problem you don't know what brand is a good brand no matter what it says on there and I just pay right at $30 for a bottle that is cramping my stomach terribly I did not need to be taking this magnesium even though I need magnesium bad for the cramps in for my stomach problems as well

    @@brendabrown166 It's SO hard to know. I can't believe how many different companies are out there now and I know nothing about most of them. One thing I've heard is that some of the pharmaceutical companies have bought out the supplement companies, so I would be wary of those. Also, many of the supplements now are being made in China ... NOT GOOD! Sorry I can't recommend a good brand, I'm looking for one, too.

    The nursing home that I'm been a long-term resident of, gave me Magnesium Oxide to increase my MG levels. All it did was hurt my stomach. I bought some Magnesium Malate and it works like a miracle for me.

    My cardiologist prescribed magnesium oxide for me in 2019 after heart bypass surgery. It was only a few months ago that I began to explore magnesium supplements on the internet. I stopped the oxide and bought a combination of magnesium types. Thanks for this video clarifying the issue of what type is best for my cardiovascular needs.

    My brother in law had a liver transplant in 1996 @ UofW. He was also put on mag-ox as well. He passed in 2010. Ended up with e-coli plus MRSA on transplanted liver, which weakened him after that. Always wondered if mag-ox was good for a transplantee. Lots of forms of mag and is confusing.

    most people just buy what is in the markets, drugstores, etc., without knowing better. it's not our fault, though, i blame doctor's for not teaching us, but seems like they know "jack s**t" about nutrition, most traditional, mainstream drs'. anyhow. but hey, now that YOU do know, spread the word!

    do you take the mag.glycinate at night? because from my understanding it is a "p.m." thing, and d3 should be taken during the day? but if this works for you...all good. do you have any "problems" with the mag. glycinate?

    @@carmencruz4523 I take VitaMatic magnesium citrate w/B6. It doesn't contain vitamin d3. I take a separate vitamin D3 and a Vitamin supplement of Vitamin K2/MK7. I hope this helps.

    You should have mentioned that most doctors DON'T TELL YOU WHAT KIND TO TAKE. And they should! I learned on my own and now take a blend of 5 kinds of magnesium. Yes, it's costly but it's crucial for me to get the right kind. Thanks for the kidney warning; I didn't know that.

    Yes they do. Find a better one. You’re allowed. Mine has me on mag glycine 525, 50,000 Vit d, 3000 omega 3. I’m on my 5th doctor. Finally found one that listened, did all the right labs and is smart smart about womens health. Took awhile. Found her by recommendation.

    P.S. I really like this guy. He is smart smart smart. Epsom salts is a really good way to get magnesium not by way of your stomach. Very relaxing. Have a soak every night.

    Magnesium glycinate has given me the best sleep I've had in recent years. It gets me to sleep gently but puts me in a deep sleep to where I dream and even remember my dreams when I wake up. I took melatonin for years and it definitely knocked me out cold (most days, not every day) but I never had dreams during that time. So glad I learned about magnesium glycinate!

    can i ask what brand you take? i just started on "dr's best", due to affordability, but will get the brand that dr. mandell has suggested soon. i kept reading that it didn't have the "after affects" that other mag's. have, but it surely does with ME. have read other peoples' comments saying the same. so instead of the recommended "3" nightly pills, i am doing 2, and hoping eventually 3 will work well, as 2 of them do nothing for me.

    Thx for the info - Melaton does nothing for me regarding sleep. The Bach Sleep capsules are so much better. I do still need magnesium for leg cramps.

    @@kareemahmed7028 Since I'm guessing that you are paying out of your own pocket for these, I would take everyone with at least a nibble ( like a piece of cheese, a slice of ham, two crackers etc.). Otherwise you're probably wasting at least half of the pill. It's not obligatory of course, just more effective.

    Thank you!! I've taken years of collegiate nutrition and food science courses, and no professor ever explained magnesium types as well as you did in ten minutes!! Do you recommend changing types? For instance, if a person were to take the type best recommended to correct a deficiency, but once they had corrected it they wanted more of the cardiovascular or fatigue fighting benefits of a different type, would they then just switch it up or what would you recommend? I don't know how I found you, but you've got a new subscriber, and I'm excited to peruse through the rest of your channel!

    If you take omeprazole, you may need more magnesium than normal to offset this loss. Omeprazole depletes magnesium. This is why some omeprazole contains magnesium. Your doc must check your blood level to know how much you need to offset this loss. I learned this the hard way by not taking magnesium with omeprazole which over about five years caused some bone loss. Fortunately, I found out my mag was low, began supplement of mag 7 and soon saw my mag level in the normal range.

    Organic magnesium tablets cost over $68 for 30 the economy is worse than it's ever been who can afford this throughout the year? Hell I can't even afford to eat three meals a day! It's never been this bad!
