Oh no, this aged perfectly. What he said proved to be true. He never said he never did/will take revenge. He said what happens when you do get revenge.

A lot of people are saying this didn’t age well but it did. Because he failed to take his own advice and he got hurt plenty.

Will smith slapping Chris rock did more damage to him than he did to Chris. Taking revenge is likely to cause you more stress and headache in long run (cus you’re likely to do it repeatedly and hold grudges etc and take more renvenge) than just ending and doing something to benefit yourself

That's why this is even more powerful, because at that moment he didn't take his own advice. Him slapping Chris was him destroying himself. If he chose love and kindness he would've won that battle.
