If I could I would always work in silence and obscurity, and let my efforts be known by their results. Silence is sometimes the best answer. Silence is the ultimate weapon of power. Silence is better than unmeaning words. HAVE A GREAT AND INSPIRING DAY!

@@chrispbacon7568 I think what Bruce Lee meant by that is, the stillness, dominance and mystery of silence is a powerful weapon in itself cause no one can predict you, figure you out or fathom how you move, think or live e.g look at the beauty, magnificence and dominance of snakes (especially the anaconda) and crocodiles cause they don't bark or howl, but when they appear, you know its game over.

I’ve been practicing this. Dream big with one step at a time and gradually get there. Some family members and friends don’t know what’s on my mind. I keep being silent and resilient regardless what they say about me. And by the way, ignoring any toxic relationship will help you sleep peacefully at night.

@@RyzeVirtualNatureNHiking I despise people like this, who are aware you don't like them, but continue on their sadistic quest to speak anyway. Sounds like a psychopath, because they take delight in doing things that irritate people who hate them. This is harassment, but since you are in a work environment, there's nothing much to stop it. I have a neighbor who would do this, and I ignored him, but he took it a step further, by raising his voice with profanities. Well, I reported him and viewed it as harassment and threatening, and he stopped, but replaced it with reckless eyeballing. I guess there's nothing I can do about that and have to settle with it. It's like having two choices of poisons to select from, and you have to choose one over the other one, but not satisfied with either. He knew in advance that I wanted no contact with him, but chose to do it anyway. What they fail to realize is that, if you talk to someone knowing they don't want to talk to you, it's a violation of personal space. This constitutes harassment, because they are intentionally doing it, knowing it can lead to conflict. Also, they assume since it's not physical, it isn't harmful because they didn't lay a hand on you. This is BS because it causes emotional distress and psychological problems when you are unable to control the situation. In lame terms, it is bullying.

By doing that you'll start to see and get better at this, when to talk so your words are carefully thought attacks back...to silence viceversa other people around you ;). When other people try to get you off the balance, don't talk, stay calm, even if your emotions are running wild inside you...and just smile with a soft grin back, that really pisses insecure people off ;) Now I talked too much...again lol

Great choice. Don't be a doormat for anyone. Be a man of strength and character, a man of his word who acts fairly and speaks honestly. If you enjoy being challenged by ideas and if mastery and masculinity are also subjects that interest you, I invite you to explore the videos shared on the Mastery Order Channel to challenge yourself with some ideas about manhood and to become the kind of man you would admire. We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own opinions so that others can benefit from them as well. Looking forward to your points of view. All the best to you!

I’m usually a quiet person and non reactive to most things, lately I’ve been running my mouth a little too much to family and certain friends because I felt like I could trust them and of course those same people started using my words against me and talking behind my back. I let it get to me, my self esteem lowered, and my grades started suffering. Now, I’ve distant myself from them and started working on things that I want/need to do. I’ve found God and my peace of mind is coming back and I’m slowly getting confident again. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND BE STRONG !!

@ DD I understand what you feel, because it is a little bit the same of my story. I am a loner. I share my story because it's part of our lessons in our class. I wish I did not share my family's stories too they are not bad bad. Anyway , I will never be near to those people again. I distance myself too. I cried silently of what they've done to me they were rude and blunt . I learned my lessons. I wish you may have a wonderful day. God Bless.

This is all very true. It’s painful but it’s true. I was silent, even as a child. Adults would openly tell my mother how much my quiet, stoic way, would unnerve them. They said it felt like I was staring straight through them. I grew into an adult woman, still silent. Until finally, one day, after endlessly hearing people say “just be yourself and people will love you for who you are” I finally spoke. It is a complete lie. Now, I’ve lost my entire family of origin. That was a painful but worthwhile lesson to learn. My own kids and grandchild, all love me the same as before. As their mother, they knew me because I guided and raised them. Only the family who had constructed their own preferred versions of me, rejected the true me. I’m thankful to have learned that truth, no matter how painful it was to learn. My own way is one of balance, stoicism, depth of understanding, patience and universal love. Most people aren’t capable of taking the quiet time in stillness, to even understand my ways. And that’s ok.

Nawaz Raja Agreed! The wisdom comes in knowing the difference! In my experience most people error on the side of talking too much and for the wrong reasons cited on this video. To me- speak when it can truly can make a real difference. The problem is that increasingly in today’s society most people don’t want to truly listen. They either want to talk over you, dismiss you outright or pretend to listen just to get your arguments out of the way so that then they can tell how it really is or should be.

I agree with half of this but I do not believe it shows weakness to not speak when it is proper to speak. You can remain silent and your silence provides no information that can damage you. For instance, talking with police even though you have nothing to hide. Not talking protects you against false and manipulative actions meant to trap you.
