Goes for both physical and mental health. Both has to be cured. Nowadays people don't want others to give them advice about bad habits or unmoral living. They want to pretend all is good on their end and becomes agitated if anyone referring to their dark side.

Also , it can be very difficult to free yourself from despicable "human parasites" who play the sympathy card because they know that you are known to be a " soft touch" as I have always been. I have been drained of emotional and physical energy many times in my life . However I have only realised it fully in recent months . However , it was something that I had to realise for myself and to learn not to feel guilty if I say " No more." I finally asked God , through prayer to help me to recognise those truly in need of my help , both spiritually and physically . I finally realised that my own wisdom was sadly lacking and that I actually needed help myself . Last week , God opened my spiritual eyes and helped me to cut away from a "human leech" whom I have known for quite a few years and the release I feel is enormous . He soon latched onto someone else , who will probably no doubt have to come to realise for themselves . It's a very difficult journey before reaching that stage though. James 1 : 5 "If any one of you is lacking in wisdom , let him keep asking God , for he gives generously to all and without reproaching , and it will begiven him." While I try to do as Jesus taught and help others , I now know that there has to be a demarcation line to distinguish the genuine ones ... just as Jesus filters our prayers to God , so that some people cannot attempt to take advantage of his undeserved loving kindness . Prayer is a huge privilege which only exists because of Jesus died for our sins and bearing our shame , and to bring us closer to God in our daily lives . 🤍

“Don’t react, cut them off silently” took a while to get rid of them and their persistent attempts to contact me, two phone number changes, an email change, a house move and a lot of blocking but being betrayed by a close friend you trusted and loved like a sister is utterly devastating, the only way I could survive that was by pretending they did not exist any more. I just did not want to get sucked back in to their toxicity so I completely removed myself. Looking back now I see how much I allowed myself to be manipulated and what an unequal friendship it really was.

Takes a long time to plan an exit strategy and pull apart. In 2004, I decided to leave my partner. He had no idea of my decision. I kept it between me and my therapist. About nine months later, I left. No regrets whatsoever. I’m now married. It’s not perfect, but relationships never are. Still, though, the good far outweighs the bad.

I started doing CrossFit at 41 years old 2 months ago. My life took a strong turn and I feel better in every aspect of my life. I still need to work in being more responsible towards my family (mother, brother, father) and trying to spend more time with them really. 20 years ago I left my home in the search for a better life 4000+km away from them, I was just a kid still and I learned all what this video says by myself the hard way....but I don't feel sorry for nothing and the best it yet to come since I opened my eyes so much in this world and truly learned what matters most.....is the family.🤍💪

Certainly. Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) are popular for long-term investments due to their diversified nature. ETFs offer exposure to a wide range of assets, such as stocks, bonds, or commodities, which can help reduce risk. Some top choices for long-term investing include broad market index ETFs, sector-specific ETFs, and bond ETFs, as they provide potential for growth and income over an extended period while minimizing the risk associated with individual stocks.

"Galileo was basically run out of town from the University of Pisa because his mechanistic philosophy contradicted the Aristotelian ‘commonsense’ of the time. Darwin, whose theory of evolution by natural selection was assailed by numerous critics as an assault on the ‘commonsensical’ idea that humans are unique, divine creations. Einstein, whose theory of relativity was mocked by a number of eminent scientists-most famously Philip Lenard-for flouting the “simple, sound common sense” that space and time must be absolute. Question everything, if your lucky, you might be wrong! My dad basically said to me "This is MY garage.... Try not to break things". So I was using a lathe unsupervised as a 10yo... I bet no parent would do that today.. I fear what those kids will grow up to be like tomorrow... (You can quote me on that one but "The Butler" may not stick it out historically... ) q8)

Good comment. Especially in a world where more and more of us fall are prone to misinformation, because something is "just common sense".

@@Nanasfsw it’s sad. But sometimes parents are also toxic in many ways during the upbringing of the child so when the child grows up he or she feels resentful and hurt. Of course this is not in every situation and a grown up child can also be influenced by others and turn against their parents.

I tell my friend's teenage sons "be a mystery. Don't tell everyone your business. Don't say what you can do or what you will do. Don't tell everyone what's on your mind all the time. Most Don't really care. Make people wonder what you're doing. What you're thinking. Sneak up on them with your achievements. Let them realize you've been busy being happy. Busy learning. Busy achieving. It takes pressure off of you, makes people want more from you. Then stun them with what you have achieved in silence."
