This is a collection of proverbs or quotes I had read before from Google. But you are creative. We can listen to all without searching the whole Google. And again this is very useful as a reminder to cleanse the mind from heavy useless thoughts. ❤

😮 if you are going to marry a man, look to see if they are looking at your mother and thinking that that is how you will turn out after marriage. Then RUN. It means they are unworthy and do not see you as an individual. It is stupid and superficial. A person who thinks like that does not know what love is, sacrifice, loyalty, dedication. It is means they are a joke of a human who will dump you, in poverty, when they have their mid life crisis. A man who looks at the mother-in-law and disrespects her toil is unworthy of being the father to her grandchild. They are called, in technical terms, "A piece of shit".

The only time you should look into someone else's bowl is to make sure they have enough" really resonated with me. It’s a beautiful reminder to be compassionate and mindful of others. How do you practice kindness in your daily life?
@kittymetal186Күн бұрын
@@LiveKindly. Everyday I practice kindness with every person I meet or speak to on the telephone. My mother raised me to be friendly, to listen, to have empathy and sympathy, and to tell people I appreciate them and wish them well. Also, part of "kindness" is being fair and giving credit to people when one uses their work and doesn't note that; also, recognizing and admiring someone else's work is fair and kind. If you are such a kind person how are you practicing kindness by being unkind to me for doing the right thing - crediting the source of a wise saying? I never criticized the actual saying. Please do not continue your lack of kindness and respect for me as a person, it is upsetting and stressful. I am undergoing cancer treatment and I certainly do not need unkind people insulting me. It also makes the other person look bad since I did not do anything wrong to deserve your response. Your name "LiveKindly" is not how you are behaving. Please stop your unkindness to me. I will not read or reply to any of your remarks. I gave a full reply, answering your question. Any further contact with me will be viewed as harassment. Be truly kind and stop.

@@LiveKindly.My original reply has mysteriously "disappeared". In summary, I described in detail how I'm kind everyday, how it is kind and important to cite the author of the wise saying, and how it was unkind to have a go at me for merely citing a reference. "Practice what you preach" and actually do what your name says: "Live Kindly". Finally, I also asked you not to write me any further (I am having cancer treatment and I do not need further upset). Any other contact will be viewed as harassment. [To this channel: PLEASE KEEP THIS REPLY ONSCREEN, unlike my previous, now missing reply. I will be unsubscribing because I watched this channel as a support but now it has become a bad experience, which I do not want. Edit: I have taken a screenshot of this reply in case it "disappears" like my first one.]

After reading and reflecting on the insightful lessons from 'Understanding These Life Lessons Will Change The Way You Look at Life (Wisdom of The Elders),' I've found profound guidance in my recent decision to prioritize self-care. By embracing the wisdom that 'self-care is not selfish; it's essential for a balanced and fulfilling life,' I've learned to allocate time for rest and rejuvenation amidst my busy schedule. This practice has not only improved my well-being but also enhanced my productivity and overall happiness. Thank you for sharing such timeless wisdom!

👍 yep. I stopped talking about what I do for a job years ago. I simply don't initiate that conversation. And people simply don't ask. I have several long term friends that never bother to ask me what I do. They just talk about themselves. They have NO clue how I earn a living. It doesn't occur to them. It is unbelievable neglect. 😢
