Thanks this is a great review. I used to have the original and wasn't sure if this stripped back version would work in my tiny home office. But after watching your video I am convinced it is the chair for me.

I really like my HÅG chair because I’m smaller and most ergo chair armrests are too far away from my arms/elbows, even if I adjust them. The backrest on this chair allows me to rest my elbows on it, which helps my posture (opens the chest, as opposed to shoulders slumping forward). I like the firm cushion and that I can put my feet on the little rest areas on the chair legs. But it’s not a chair for everybody - my husband greatly prefers his Herman Miller ergo chair.

Great review. I'm very interested in this chair. I'm wondering if someone can comment on the relative hardness/ cushioning on this? I understand that the idea is to move around and change positions a lot -- but I still feel that having surfaces that are mainly hard plastic with a tiny cushioning strip would be too hard on my body to use day in day out.

Good question though. For me it‘s good. There is additional cushioning you can buy to cover the seat area if you wish later on though.

Great chair and am considering to buy one for working from home. However the price tag is stiff - and just got some nice discount to get a Herman Miller or Steelcase chair. Have your compared the Capisco Puls with Herman Miller or Steelcase chair?

Hi Sherman! Thanks for watching. I didn‘t compare those chair. But as I have seen, the Hermann Miller and Steelcase chairs are great too. I don‘t think you‘ll be wrong with any decision. When price is a thing, definitely go with the Hermann Miller. Those look great too 🙌

Do you use this chair to play your guitars? I am looking for a work chair that I can also use to play the guitar.

Yes I do. The arm rests aren’t on each side the way other chairs have them so they don’t interfere with the neck of the guitars. However I prefer drum chairs while playing guitar but I just don’t have the space for an additional chair so the Capisco does pretty fine.

Do you start to feel the lack of full upholstery after a while, or do you find that it's still pretty comfortable with just the strip of fabric?

Well the chair is designed to keep you moving which it does very well. The strip of fabric is not only a strip of fabric, it’s actually cushion. However, you can buy an additional cushioned layer for the bottom part later on if you wish so or even completely replace the seating with another cushioned seating. A friend has the same chair and he bought the additional cushioned layer.

@@MetinSenler Is it comfortable enough for all day sitting? How does the fully cushioned version work out for your friend? I'm looking at the 8020 (fully cushioned) for my home office (coding) because the regular model (not Puls) is out of my budget. But I'm worried that if the Puls is not great for long sessions, it's still the wrong purchase even at half the price.
