OMG! My mother is gone now but I can remember when she had company and I was sent out of the room she would play Mom's album and the adults would be cracking up, of course I was sitting by the door listening.

I'm a military brat and my parents use to play this tape on our drives! Thank you for posting this! Wonderful memories!

I have an Album with my favorite one of hers' named "Help the Bear" but sadly I have been unable to hear any other recording of it. (mine has a scratch on it) Do you happen to know if any exist?

Hey, Moms is an undisputed diamond. I remember her from my childhood even though I wasn't old or smart enough to understand everything...but she sure talked to me anyway. Thank you for sharing this.

We were raised on the comedy of Moms Mabley and Bill Cosby. I came to find this when I had the thought, "Don't help me, help the bear," referencing a bear in one of our co-workers pictures from a family member. This is awesome.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....The Original...." Queen of Comedy.".... Ms.Jackie" Mom's Mabley ,she was a Trailblazer,an Icon a Legend...in the Truest Sense of The Word!! May she..Rest in Peace🍃🍃🌫️🌫️

She was funny as hell just being herself. A unique talent.

Thing is, the audience is in love with her. It's love-in laughs-that's coming back to her on this wonderful LP. I say this because I got to see her once in her prime. The wonderful blurb tribute shown at 1:03 about teenagers rebottling fresh milk in show polish bottles and paint buckets to get money from milk bottle deposits to see Moms at the Uptown Theatre in Philly turns out to be written by Bill Cosby. He says she was winking at him while telling her stories about handsome young men in her jokes. And it's he, he says, who had the crush on her.

Mom's was one of my favorites as a boy believe it or not I was eight years old in 1968 and I was digging Ms. Mom's Mabley then R.I.P. MS.Mabley a loyal fan.

It was always a special event when Moms was on the Merv Griffen show when I was a kid . I must have been 7 or 8 , that was the late sixties . My Grandpa Phil always watched Merv . He always had such amazing guests !

she's someone black comedians as well as white were totally influenced by moms .... you can see it in cosby Pryor redd foxx Eddie Murphy does a direct impression in nutty professor n let's face it lawanda paiges whole shtick was a direct byte.....i Mean joan rivers amongst others admitts to straight stealing her jokes ...... she was great n extreamly influential.... BIG UP
