Per request, here it is. My favorite(and in my opinion the best) Inquisition perks in Dragon Age Inquisition! :) These are pretty much always end up getting bought by me during my playthroughs.

It's so nice to see a recent video about this game, it gives me hope it still has a fanbase. DA is very dear to me. The stories and lore are amazingly crafted. Thank you!

It's not much but if you get Sterling reputation, favor for a favor, and elite clientele a vault will be installed into skyhold and a guy in it will quiz you on lore. If you get it right he gives you a unique two handed weapon

Just played DAO and DA2 in the last 3 weeks, what a nice trip down memory lane! Got to say I actually enjoy DA2 more than I did 10 years ago.

I actually have done the same! I always loved DA 2 but this time round was awesome. Trying a full 360 save game playthrough from origins to inquisition.

Playing dragon age for the first time on gamepass and your vids have been a life saver. Looking forward to more when DA4 comes out!

Glad to get your take on the perks. Since I am far from a *virtuous* player of the game, the bonus ability point I never get and just dupe the amulet of power. On the note of duping, I also use it on unique gear to sell, so as Bull says, gold takes care of itself - 2 fewer Josie points to spend. And I’m almost always playing with rub some dirt on it for trial rewards. However, I often pick up optimal cutting. It’s kinda nice for herb gathering to actually yield something worth the time.

Yup, I get you. Exploits would make quite a few things different when it comes to perks. Not worrying about skill points or money tends to modify your priorities a bit. :)

if you know the duplication glitch at skyhold you don't need the exclusive training perk as you can just duplicate the amulets for as many ability points as you want lol

I always get the codex ones first because of the extra xp and choices in conversations.

DEFT HANDS, FINE TOOLS it's one of my priorities in the game, because with the help of some characters you can open certain doors that SOMETIMES I find items that I can use on some other character.

Love your perks video!! I’ve been playing DA:I for quite some time (and still play it to this day) & I utilize a lot of the perks that you mentioned. A couple that you mentioned piqued my interest though because I have yet to try them out: Massacre’s Method & Enhanced Studies. Never understood their significance until you so expertly explained it. Also, Enhanced Studies opens up the Scattered in Skyhold quest when you talk to the elven bookkeeper next to Helisma, the Tranquil researcher. As far as Optimal Cutting is concerned, I actually find it VERY useful as I can easily farm extra herbs instead of spending unnecessary gold for them (unless I need them for a specific specialization). Other than that, I agree with everything else that you’ve said in the video. WOA to anyone still playing Inquisition: make sure that you get The Short List perk on your first opportunity. The Tier 2 schematics will start appearing when your Inquisitor is at level 8 while the Tier 3 schematics show up at level 16 (the superior armors arrive at level 18). Still trying to get that Superior Battlemage Armor to this day. LOL!! Just my thoughts & advice…great video & thanks again!! 😁

Very nice! I'll be sure to use this for reference next time I play Inquisition. Funny thing is most of the scenarios on the war table would've been far more interesting than the majority of quests we got to play. That and the need to put timers on them really sucked.

Thanks! :) True, the timers really got out of hands on many of the quests. I don't mind having timers while I'm running around fighting and gathering resources, but the timers are sometimes so long, you can finish some quest lines and they will still ticking when you go back to the table...

@@AKisHerceg I think they should've had it where the war table quests don't progress until you've gone out to do other stuff in-game. That way it takes time to see the results, but doesn't make you wait days to complete it.

@@StarMarshal Yeah, the timers are actually pretty basic...Very simple algorithm. They are actually tied to your system's clock(unlike for example in Black Flag where Kenway's Fleet is using the time of the Ubisoft servers). I found out that if you set your system's clock ahead of the amount of hours you need for the quest, you can complete them instantly. I don't usually use this because I don't even bother completing long quests on the War Table anymore, but maybe it will save some time for you. :)

@@AKisHerceg oh yeah I believe there's a mod that makes it instant so no timers to worry about at all.

I find optimal cutting useful because you don't have to spend so much money on herbs you can just find them yourself. It is also helpful in making a lot of options.

If it's schematics you only need to pick it up once and then head over to the golden nug. So save, spend a point, reload and get the point back. Profit!

@@KairoMontanoyes, it works. Save before you take the perk, sync with the Nug, reload, repeat for the other two classes, and bam! This works for every Tier 2 and above schematic, so you can do this for the Black Emporium stuff too for example.

Other than Exclusive Training I agree on these. I only say not Exclusive Training for me because I do the amulet exploit 😅

Not everyone does the exploits though.

I think I would have liked to see you rank these out, especially the knowledge perks. I think the priority should be Arcane, Nobility, History, and then Underworld. You could switch Arcane and Nobility if you're a human mage, because then you can recruit Ellendra. All other options have alternatives, such as deferring to a party companion. But Nobility Knowledge allows you to be extra impressive with Abernache at the start of Champions of the Just. History Knowledge allows you to be extra inspirational with the Wardens. Underworld Knowledge doesn't have much use, aside from possible alternative dialogues, though it can be useful later in the game when judging Alexius or Servis. I think the extra healing potions aren't that useful. I got these first because I played on nightmare, but supply caches during main quests mean you can go without the additional four potions until later in the game. I would have rather had extra knowledge perks early in the game. The addition of the storage chest also makes the extra inventory slots pretty useless. The Golden Nug also makes the schematic perks useless.

Thank you for your time in making video, what about perk combinations that do things? Beside Josephine and the Vault full of loot in the basement. I was wondering if a different combination cleaned up Skyhold? Do you have any insight? The bricks on the floor outside of War Table door & the other towers seems weird? Again good job liked the large print and background music.

Thanks! As far as I know Skyhold has 3 different upgrades, all with 2 choices. You can upgrade the garden, the tower and the courtyard. Plus you can customize the Throne Room. Josephine’s place doesn’t have an upgrade, so not sure why the rocks look different.

Let's play Inquisition with this references one more time :3 Please, make a Templar build :D (for Origins or Inquisition)

5:26 I would go on 1 playthrough, get those schematics, then sync them up via the Golden Nug to dragon age keep so I wouldn't have to spend the perk on another playthrough and thus have those schematics every time I play again afterwards lol

I really wish I only had 8 play throughs, or even only 8 as Dwarf Female. My laptime on the veloway would be better. My German would be further along. Would have time to volunteer more. Ahhh Well back to DAI, =)

About Armor Shematics How do you get all you've listed in the video? Was I in the merchandise and appeared only one of the shamatics só can only catch one by save?

What sigils would you recommended on different armour builds? There is allot that gives buffs and debuffs I’m not sure which ones are viable.

i always level up my perk to 1 and get arcane knowledge before i go to val royal because there so many codex to read there.

Yup. I usually get two perks before I pick up the entries there. 100 xp for each is sometimes enough for me to reach another level. :)

Im building a templar, since they're stronger against demons/mages what would be the best rune/runes to use?

You can pick which one you would like. Runes are not that important in my opinion, since they don't add that much to your damage. If you want to mainly focus on Demons, then the Demonsalyer rune. For added elemental damage, you can use any of the elemental runes. Lightning seems to be the least resisted element, so you can pick that one.

In what order would you take your perks?

That depends on what your focus is early on. If you like hunting for codex entries, picking up the Knowledge Perks should be a priority. Massache's Method is best to pick up early on as well, this way you can level up faster from combat. If you feel too squishy in combat, you should get More Healing Potions asap. The Short List can wait until you reach Skyhold. Same with Enhanced Studies. This way I get a nice xp boost instantly after I reach Skyhold. Deft Hands, Fine Tools can be picked up early or later on too, if you don't mind backtracking for the treasures you have left behind.

Which one do you think is best to start with. the extra exp from codexes or opening chests??

I am not as familiar with 2 as inquisition and I know in inquisition rift mage is one of the stronger classes but how does force mage fair in viability

@@garrywatkins2358 Rift Mage is basically DA2's force mage... The two spec basically has the exact same skills with different names. :) Fist of the Maker is basically Veilstrike, Pull of the Abyss is the same(even the name is the same in both games). Telekinetic Burst is basically a reverse Fist of the Maker. The force mage also has one ability which is present in the Knight-Enchanter tree in Inquisition, the Gravitic Ring. It does the same thing as Disruption Field. It even has the same icon.

It is interesting how many of these perks are dependent on whether you are taking advantage of bugs or not. It is single player that we “solved” many years ago, I can not see not taking advantage of the bug that will refill any box you don’t remove all the items from. the only thing this gets you is saved time. But that real world time is the most valuable thing in every single human beings life. Now if this were multiplayer that would be cheating and I would be against it, but this is a super old single player. So saving that time gets. you absolutely unlimited gold and really changes the perk equation. It is also highly dependent on whether you are using the keep to re-use recipes/etc from previous play throughs. If you were on your very first play through or weird about bugs then the choices you make here are COMPLETELY different from the ones you and I would make for our personal styles.

Using exploits can of course change things. You would definitely not need Josie's two perks since you can just have an unlimited Skywatcher's Sword or the other expensive axe you can get in the Frostback Basin after you close one of the rifts which can net you 3k gold per item. Leaving and returning to loot it from the rift over and over can get you 100k in an hour depending on your load time. Then you can take that 100k and get all the Influence you need from the influence merchant and pretty much pick any of the perks you want. You will even have money left to get the best schematics and materials from the Emporium. Exploits like these are understandable after completing the game dozens of times, since we have a limited time on this earth. :)
