So I just bought the M32U. Immediately sold it and got the Sony 43x85j. If you can do the bigger size I think that’s the better option. The panel on the 32u just didn’t look good to me. Even coming from a 6 year old 1440p panel.

I ordered this monitor. It the latest 2022/01/11 firmware update. How would I update it on my X box series X? I only have a mac book pro and on their website I didn't see a mac version for download.

Can usb-c connect external headphone to output audio source?

The frame counter is correct. It is telling you the frames of the monitor and not the Xbox. I didn't check the spec, but would guess that the minimum framerate of the monitor on freesync is 45 or so. Because of this, it will use a multiple of 30 to make sure that there is no tearing while using freesync. In this case, it will just show the same frame 2 3 or 4 times (60,90, or 120hz) which will sync up perfectly.

Freesync minimum is 48hz and then you get low frame rate compensation

@@boc043 yep 😆 I think the lfc feature of free sun is only with the freesync premium as well right or is it on the regular also There is freesync, freesync premium, freesync premium pro and I get them confused

@@samgoff5289 correct, it is a premium feature. I have a premium pro monitor, though it used to be called freesync 2 hdr. Premium pro obviously also has LFC, though normal freesync doesn't.

@@TheGabrielfaro In games no, I have not noticed this. While in 1440p the dashboard icons look a little "Squished" though. I assume because it was designed with 4k and 1080p in mind. 1440p cant be divided by the same amount of pixels as those. That being said I haven't used this with PC so small word document sized text may be affected by this too, I'm not sure.

Whats the quality like watching movies on a Gigabyte M32U?

OLED has the fastest response time on any color that means no ghosting, best for gamers.

Just bought the M32U mostly for my PC gaming, but with the future-proof intention of being able to eventually have a PS5. I'm currently on a PS4 for console gaming. Can't wait to hook up the monitor and check it out, I think this monitor is the perfect monitor for both PC and console gaming.

I have this monitor for my series x and ps5 and I was surprised to see someone comment on the LG-GP83b. Good to see someone using it too. Are you still using this monitor or have you switched to something else?

Is there any fixes for the FPS counter and also do I need to do a firmware update if I’m on Xbox?

You can check out my comment about the frame counter. It is not a problem :) Not sure exactly what firmware update you are taking about, but the monitor should work with the Xbox and you should just keep the Xbox up to date anyways :)

@@AliHussain-dg7fb firmware update of the monitor should not be necessary unless you are having problems, or it has a feature you need or something. If it is at 120, then it could either default to 2x framerate until that would go over its max frequency - or - You might not have free sync turned on for both your monitor and your Xbox. The monitor will have it in the monitor settings, somewhere in either display or game settings. Probably called freesync. The Xbox has it under display settings somewhere and should be called variable refresh rate or vrr or something similar.

I bought the M32U and returned it after one day of use. Is it a good monitor? Yes, however I mostly game online with fast pace games and the input lag on the M32U is ridiculously high; even after I did the firmware update it was too high. I changed it to the G32QC and I was pleasantly surprised.

The hdmi 2.1 bandwidth on this monitor is 24gbps

I love this monitor, but jeez that stand looks horrible.. They really need to stop and pretend that gaming laptops, PC, monitors, mouse need to have these ugly ''gaming'' designs. They all look like they were designed by 40 year old men who think that this is what the youth thinks is cool and hip.. I'd rather have something more sleek that fits with everything. And by sleek I don't mean ''plain'' just a nice looking design for the eyes. This is really 2008 and this ''gaming'' design really needs to be left in the past..

Yes, you can set it higher, but it still lacks a few percent for a top picture. and the HDR is also bad better picture with HDR off. I've already tried all the settings, my decision is that it's a good monitor, but not good enough for the price! after 3 months i have to say i would go for a cheaper full HD monitor if you play a lot of pvp and for the LG oled C1 if i want to have a top picture in 4k. (Using it for x box series X!)

I think a 144hz 1080p monitor is better than a 60hz 4K tv.

It's fake HDR, this has no local dimming zones which is what true HDR requires.
