If you turn off the eco setting off brightness goes up way higher lg has settings on all there tv as well
How did you get VRR working on hdmi? I thought it was g sync only?
What's the difference between 4k and 1440p? Is one better for picture quality and the other for smoother performance? I'm wondering which is the best settings for my Xbox

I'm looking to upgrade my 4k TN panel to an OLED 4k. I noticed there isn't much options, and it'd be cheaper to get a LG C3 tv as a monitor. You mentioned this one isn't a 4k monitor, but the consoles support it at 4k, is it just upscaling? Debating if I should go for a non-true 4k monitor just to finally try OLED the first time.

@keet0nnn feels fine but nothing beats the response time of a monitor if you're a competive gamer. I'd go with the LG for size & performance overall. Unless you're going all out on a ultrawide or something

@@ResidentHorror I want a monitor or tv that’s 100% oled without a doubt. I was looking at some of the monitors on the market and they’re all $900+ for the most part and I saw a lg 27 “ oled 1440p 240hz but why pay $900 for that when you can get a tv that’s 120hz and 4k? You know what I mean? I play cod, Fortnite, gta and sports games. I just wanted to make sure the 120 ran smooth on mainly fort and cod. Plus I could use it to watch tv/movies on. That’s the only thing I was worried about was the response time for shooters didn’t know if it made a big difference.

@@ResidentHorror would you say the overall fps and response time is a big difference between the tv and monitor? I don’t play cod or Fortnite professionally but am pretty good on a 120hz monitor. Want oled tho. Would you say it’s best to go with the tv over a monitor and do you think it would effect my performance or is it not that much of a difference?

Panel is a bit too small a 27in for me. I play on a 42 inch 16 by 9 and I still feel like it needs to be bigger. Not many good monitors in the 50 to 55 in range.

I have a 43” if I want to go bigger, but it requires a bit more space in between me and the monitor. Depends on where I’m gaming. I have a 48” LG C2 and that’s fine but it needs more space. I can’t wait to try a 32” OLED

@@TechnoDad yeah I was one of those kids that always sat to close the TV. Would love something big enough to fill my entire field of view at an arm's length, thats not a tv. Kind of waiting for someone to make a 4k 55 inch OLED monitor at a 200hz and they can shut up and take my money. Can't imagine it could get better than that, haha.
Until qd oled I didn’t get the religious devotion to oled. From burn in the first week to using the tv as a tv being called destructive. Brightness was a joke so no colors popped, but most of that is solved now. However this tiny panel has all of the negatives as well as being tiny, you’re going to want to hand out glasses so your friends can see their square in halo co op. Consoles require larger screens
