Are any of these monitors good for the Xbox one X?

Can you use a 30in ultra wide on the series X or is that aspect ration gonna stretch everything out too much?

Any good decent moniters for a series s?I'm getting one for my b day and wanna get a whole setup

So if I went high end for the 120fps and 4k, would I have to swap settings for the games that wouldn't push out 120 at 4k or just leave as is and the system just handles all of that? Getting my series x in a few weeks and stuck on what monitor to buy having always used a TV in the past.

So that acer nitro 32” would probably be my best bet with a series x getting 1440p at 120fps and it will fluctuate so there’s no tearing? 2:28

My biggest question is do the HDMI ports support 120hz? I was watching a review for a Samsung Odyssey 4 and the only way to get 1440p @ 120hz is if you have use the DisplayPort port. The HDMI’s throttled to only do 60hz

@@Chris.Thanopoulos I have found this to be incorrect. If I have my resolution set to 1080p then my new LG UltraGear 32GN600-B can hit 120Hz. However, I do wanna hit that 1440 @ 120Hz that my monitor is capable of so I will be buying an HDMI to DisplayPort active adaptor to take advantage of DisplayPort’s ability to achieve this.

And it will display right because of the free sync and we can throw out the 2.1 port deal?

Also while on the settings of the monitors it’s saying it’s only on 60hz? Could anyone tell my why this is please ? Pretty new to this sort of stuff.

check out there they are a lot of videos to check for settings !!!! you have to go on xbox settings and change some settings to open the resolutions and hzs !!!!

LG C1 or C2 run 4k 120hz. OLED TVs are super expensive though.

Please update your video, not sure if you are putting these videos up without testing the monitors but the sceptre you have featured here and in your KZread shorts does not work will with the Xbox series x, no matter what you do with settings on Xbox or monitor or even try the display port the Xbox will not run 1440p @ 120hz only 1080p 120hz or at best 1440p 60hz. I purchased the sceptre based off your recommendation and was disappointed when i couldn’t run 1440p 120hz and i just don’t want someone else to make the wrong purchase based off your recommendation. Appreciate the heads up on this! Did you try adjusting your color depth settings on the Xbox? I know with certain monitors Xbox has a VESA timing issue where if the Hz doesn't match what it's looking for exactly it just ignores it. It's a large complaint Xbox users have and it's something that many are hoping Microsoft addresses as it forces users to find more workarounds. I've not personally tested the Sceptre model in this video but the specs on the product page lineup and I've read several places where users have had success pulling 1440p @ 120fps so my assumption was that it was safe to suggest. Not sure if you've watched some other videos on YT that outline this issue and the settings that can be adjusted to fix this Xbox issue. Please do keep me informed because if you ultimately can't get it to work I definitely want to update this to ensure other users don't end up with the same issue! Thanks again!

Yeah I believe it’s fully not able to run 1440 120, only thing I haven’t tried yet is contacting spectre directly and informing them about this issue and seeing if there is a firmware update. I’ve read some people being able to do that with a gigabyte model not being able to work….. I believe I’ve tried every route, reset Xbox, reset monitor, tried a hdmi to dp adapter, changed my color depth from 32 to 24 to 10, overriding to hdmi on the Xbox fixes issue for a lot but still locks you at 1080 120 1440 60. I’ve been using this monitor for about a month now and tried everything I’ve found on forums. Mostly everyone I’ve seen have this issue all agree that it’s because sceptre uses non VESA timing standards

@@BooksFD Ahh geeze, that's so annoying. This is something Microsoft could easily patch with an update since PC and PS5 handle non-VESA timings with no problems. I'm going to dig a little deeper into this but I feel bad knowing people have bought this based on my suggestion! I try to research these things ahead of time but this issue slipped under the radar. Hopefully you can return the monitor for a refund and get something else! I'll make a note on this video and I'll double check VESA timings moving forward for Xbox-related videos. Thanks for bringing this up!

No worries, im just going to give it to my buddy who’s getting into monitors instead of playing on a tv, the reason i commented was I purchased this monitor based off your KZread short that came out a while ago and saw you featured this monitor again and I was watching your new video for a good monitor pick lol, think I might just go for it and get the gigabyte m28u. It’s really a Microsoft issue and it’s sad after 2 years they haven’t fixed it

With an Xbox One you should be able to plug in just about anything since it barely outputs 1080p and doesn't push out more than 60fps. If anything, you'd be overpaying for a "gaming monitor" with high refresh rates if the sole purpose is to use it for an Xbox One.
