I had $400 dollars from Christmas… it is actually enough to get a whole setup… I got a 165hz monitor, a gaming chair that was made close to an office chair, and I just got an Xbox series s! I fortunately found cheaper products and was able to update my whole old gen setup to a new gen setup… I recommend it is you have at least $400

Sometimes I forget how good 1080p is.

If u wanna play on 120 Fps and 1440p I can recommend the Asus VG27AQZ best monitor It has HDMI 2.0 HDR IPS 165Hz 1 Ms MPRT and is 27 Inch best monitor it costs around 300 Bucks so not that Cheap

Dude this is so cool, this is how I started with my setup 8 years ago, instead of a monitor it was a smaller tv and an Xbox, 4 years ago got a pc and a 60hz monitor, now I have a 144hz monitor, a 60hz one and a better pc, with my console plugged in too, these videos make me happy and nostalgic 🥹

@@lowrry for short term peripherals (up to 2 years) i highly recommend redragon kits. They're like 20-30$ and include keyboard, mouse, mousepad and headset. I've used 2 so far and they lasted me for around 2 years each (keyboard was still great, mouse wheel would fail around that time tho). I went to buy a logitech g502 mouse which i'm using rn, with a 20$ redragon mechanical keyboard (which is great). The kits do their job just fine, but if you have a higher budget then can't go wrong with logitech stuff.

Love the video man. One recommendation though, I would definitely try to invest in a headset stand so your headset isn’t just sitting on the desk. You can probably get one for like 5-10 dollars. Overall, fantastic job, this is definitely the kind of content that helps new gamers get into the hobby without breaking the bank.

This is a great starter set up for me

I had this setup since last month almost and tbh this setup is just so good bruh

I got a series s to compliment my ps5, and because of how good a value game pass is. I really like it, it is compact, it has decent enough power and the price is excellent. So I’ll be using my PS5 for Sony exclusives, and anything I want in 4K. Series s for game pass and it’s Microsoft exclusives

I essentially have the same setup but a slightly different koorui monitor, the one with the red lines on the back. It works shockingly well, it’s certainly better than a budget PC performance wise in most games, the only thing is not all games have keyboard support on console so if you get this setup and intend on playing a certain game, make sure it works with keyboard. Fortnite and cod work fine but battlefield doesn’t have keyboard support on console so that’s where a budget PC may be better

Vertical console is bad idea because the thermel paste will actually start to drip this happened to some ps5 users after 2 yrs of using it vertical

I got lucky and found a series s on marketplace for $90, it works perfectly fine and sold my other Xbox, the Xbox One x for 150 and got profit while upgrading my console
