They are probably vacuum operated not electric and are two separate motors. The friction or partial restriction (blockage of the vacuum pipe), of the slower one would account for the different speed.@@thegrandtour

I can't stop playing a game. Every time I see his insipid Crosley, I look up how much better of a car I can find for $11k USD. For instance - 1970 DATSUN PL 251 PICKUP - $8,999. James would have loved this car and probably kept it. It's interesting, it's unique, and it would be a great little stylish truck that no one is taking on road trips through Eastern Europe.

James in that little car is like Clarkson in the leaning tower of Citroen all over again on the motorway. 🤣🤣🤣

The three of them giggling about the wipers on the Crosley whilst completely ignoring the dock workers actively discussing with the police about James accident in the background is pure gold.

This was the best GrandTour by far. Not too scripted, unique cars, plently of genuine laughs from the trio, great visuals of the scenery and bit of interesting history.

@@mkfmgaming3019 I think it's more due to BBC's strict ruling on what they can and cannot do. Apparently simply filming beautiful vistas is too similar to Top Gear and most of the challenges had to be scrapped.

So I was watching this episode on a train in Germany, giggling and laughing like a mad man - tears running down my face. Seriously. Other travels were watching me like 👀. This must've been one of the greatest episodes these 3 have done.

I almost died laughing at the window wipers.

Poor James suffered a lot in this special, even when got an advantage when he pranked Clarkson and Hammond and had a multi-hour headstart. It’s hard not to feel bad for him.

I think it's actually quite sweet. James May famously doesn't run for anything but he ran to help his buddy. That's a real friend. Someone who will slag the shit out of you but will run to get the fire engine to help you!

james is really the biggest savage in this special

This special just have alot of fun, completely the opposite after despair challenge from Scandi Flick Especially, The Trip drove some of the craziest and unique car in the world. Clarkson's Le-Seyde is hands down my favorite car from this special

I'm 25 and i grew up with these man'sl. It's incredible to see one friendship that long.

Although I felt bad for May, it's was one of their best episodes ever😂😊

Finding a replacement rear rim for that SSR is ridiculously expensive. The is a 20” x 10” rim with a 6 on 5” lug pattern. Not 6 on 5.5” like a full-size American truck or SUV. 6 on 5” is only on the SSR, the Olds Bravada, Chevy Trailblazer, and mid sized Chevy Colorado pickup. For aftermarket rims you have to get them specially ordered and drilled.

The Crosley was an attempt at a budget car by a man who was a big man in the radio industry. The motor wasn’t cast iron but brazed sheet metal given to overheating and leaking from everywhere….. Suffice to say it wasn’t a collector’s item….

One thing I can say about these 3, they are just 3 legends ❤

Watched it last night, loved it. James in the clown car was hilarious! These guys just get better. Pity about their old show getting even worse, well done BBC.
