Lovely stuff! I have a couple of extra items - a pair of cufflinks in a circular metal box and some illustrated playing cards. I'm also so old that I have my original Corgi sub from 1968, the cause of much envy for some! 😄

Hello Dave ! Fun video of merchandise from my all time favorite feature-length cartoon !! I don't have many items, but I do have the only authorized, 1968 American comic book of the movie, which I treasure, and the official 1969 (?) lunchbox which is still looking good ! Outstanding! Although I never had any of these items, seeing them takes me back. Aside vinyls and CDs, the only Yellow Submarine related item I ever had is the VHS release from 1987 which I never got tired of watching over and over again. Thanks a lot for the video, I was really looking forward to it.

HiFBT, There was quite an influx of merchandise from 1999 after the 30th anniversary of the films release , obviously the song track album tied in with that too! Much more was released in the USA thou of course! Thanks for watching! Stay well!

Great video as always, hope you do more Beatle Merch vids. The reason old fred wasn’t on any of the packaging was because the version of Paul that came with him was a variant/chase version, I.e. harder to find, so if a store ordered a case of these they would get say, 2 or 3 of each figure but only one of the variant. Thought that might be interesting to note…but ah, I had all these yellow sub figures as well as the Sgt Pepper band versions from the movie as well and the vandor yellow sub lava lamp, Vandor made a lot of cool items, but I sold them off a few years ago for money and space. I regret it for sure. I do still have the 2004 versions of the McFarlane figs that came in a box set with all 4 and the yellow sub..and the cartoon series figs too…as well as the Yellow sub funko pops…so totally defeating the purpose of getting rid of the others to save space and money lol . As cool as Yellow Sub is , I do think its been a been over done by now, I wish they would do more merch based on other Beatle eras.

I certainly hope to do as many YS ones and certainly some others on other items like signed books etc. Ahh ok , good information about the Old Fred figure , often wondered why that was and why Paul was duplicated! It’s always very difficult collecting and then selling sone of it. You’ll always regret it at some point. Even I sold sone bits which I still have t been able to find again ! We love and Learn! I have a " home version," " Yellow Submarine," video in German,1995,was tough times in my country The old lady got her visa to travel to Italy,and out of the blue,she asked me,what record do you want me to bring you? So,i was not thinking long," Yellow Submarine," now i have fond memories of an old lady,whose last deed was to get me a record that i didn' t have. Later I got a Japanese' CD,one in shrink wrap,and sound trek mint too. Nice one Dave.😎

I remember when I first saw "Yellow Submarine" in 2018. I was 14 at the time, and I remember loving the movie and also having a platonic (non-romantic) crush on Paul in that movie. He was so handsome. 😳

Hi, Dave. Nice collection. The YS Globes are cool. Do you keep them packaged or set on a shelf to enjoy. The packaging on the characters is very colorful. I have some YS collectors items but not alot. Did you purchase these earlier when first starting to collect Beatles items, you mentioned you spend money more on vinyl these days. Cheers

Hi G, The globes are really great, I’ve got a few things out on display but not enough space to put it all out and I guess it’s safer packed inside their boxes! I’ve been collecting this more up to date YS merchandise since 1999, there’s so much out there with the ultimate YS item being a Juke box! Stay well mate!

I actually have a copy of the _Yellow Submarine_ movie on Blu-ray and a DVD version of that came with _Help!_ . I even did an unboxing of it as well as a menu walkthrough.

Hi, Yes, me too I’ve got both of those editions. The original DVD has the original voiceover on the trailer but for some reason it was dubbed over for the Blu ray! I’m sure there is other extras on the DVD which is not on the Blu ray edition, I’ll have to take another look at then ! Stay well!

The Yellow Submarine merchandise that I have contains a story book, a poster, a T-shirt, and the Yellow Submarine album from 1969 on CD. When I got the Yellow Submarine CD last Christmas, it was actually on accident because I asked my mom for the movie on DVD, and she must've made a mistake. But i didn't get mad since it's a simple mistake, and there's always next time. I've been borrowing the DVD from the library multiple times, and it's a great movie.

From the same overkill Yellow Submarine merch period I picked up one of those inflatable armchairs , from memory I think (?) I had it sent over from America ? ……I dread to think what the postage cost would be nowadays.
