You can remove the framed photo in the background and hang the posters there. Then you have a little studio set for your youtube vlogs, reviews, unboxings and singing videos. Btw, is it coming a new season of you singing songs after the season of Beatles songs review finale with "The End" from Abbey Road? And can you make a review to the Focus box set soon too? Can't wait for more new content in the future! :D

Loved your unboxing, Larry. Very well done and entertaining. By the way, you aren't the only one who sheds a tear every now and then. I'm 68 so was obviously 18 when I first bought "The White Album" as a college freshman. To think that 50 years after the fact we are unboxing this fabulous package and are just as excited as we were when we first bought it in 1968 is truly a musical miracle. My Super Deluxe Box Set with the 2 LP vinyl version is due tomorrow so I'm enjoying all the unboxings on KZread today. Anyway, enjoy....and my best to you and Mollie.

I have the little 3cd set. The sound is amazing!

I think Giles has stayed true to his word. The mix is so impressing in how deep, detailed, broad and bassy it stays. Perfected but still raw, appealing to every generation which is difficult to do. George M would have been proud, hats off to Giles.

Just got my 3 CD edition, FUCK ME. Giles Martin has outdone himself. Yer Blues hits you straight in the face, feels you're there with The Beatles in the studio.

JUST bought it. 1st thing I noticed was how crisp and clear Dear Prudence sounds. Johns vocals almost gives you chills

Set away some time specifically to watch this in its entirety - a super 18 minute Canadian Studmuffin special! It sure didn't disappoint. Thanks for the time to make such an in-depth review Larry, on a personal standpoint I really do appreciate you putting in the time to show most (if not all, I think) of that book. So many great (and rare!) photos, I can't wait to get my own copy soon enough. Just when we all probably thought we'd never get more or better unreleased stuff than Sgt Pepper...! Also, thanks for showing the original tone in the whole video, I was pleasantly surprised! I'll take those scans of the book whenever you're ready. Can you imagine what kind of box set they could make for the Let It Be bluray? The original movie an extended cut of it with tons of extras of the movie and cd. Now that would be a box set.

Larry, I was 16 when the White Album was released. CHUM FM, which was an underground FM station back then previewed the whole album just before it went on sale. My vivid recollection, besides the wealth of music were the inserts... I loved those glossy photos !! And the poster!!! I don’t think it was long before they were on my wall. What a classic !,! And this box set is incredible.. love the Esher Demos.

That's a very nice package. (That's what she said). I didnt watch the whole video I must confess. I'm going to buy it myself and want the joy of discovery for myself. I hope you do and in depth review of the remix and all the bonus tracks. I've heard all the kinfauns demos on bootlegs but the sound is reportedly vastly improved here. There are a lot of outtakes that have never been released even on bootlegs. Very exciting prospect. My favorite album of all time given the deluxe treatment it deserves. Enjoy Larry. Cheers!

Brilliant album, I just got into the Beatles last year and I heard this album for the first time, at first i wasn't a fan, thought there were a few filler songs in there, but after listening to it a few times it's become one of if not my favourite Beatles albums.

Hi Larry, I really enjoyed your unboxing video of the brand new White album Box Set. At some point I'd also enjoy hearing your impressions of the new remix vs. what you remembered of the prior version of the White Album. Waiting on those scans of the book (wink, wink, nudge, nudge!) he he he!

Now I’m sure, Paul’s base lines are not from this world, what a great player he is. My favourite one was Yer Blues, it’s brilliant how that music is awesome.

You're a very excited numbat, am happy for you. Mine's on its way to Oz from the US (along with the new Hendrix "Electric Ladyland" set, and Tull's new "This Was" Wilson box set from England). All released on the same day, but hope they don't all arrive on the same day, would be spoilt for choice as to what to play first.

Just got the album in vinyl in the Mail love the photos!!

I remember the thrill I had when I got this album back in 1968. It was the first album released by Apple records. The Beatles made sure to make this album something special. Not only was it a double album but it included a poster and 8x10 glossy pictures of each Beatle. As if that wasn’t enough The Beatles went above and beyond when designing their record label. Back in 1968 record labels were the same on both sides. However, The Beatles decided to have two different label designs for their album, the full apple and the half apple. As if this wasn’t enough their music was fantastic. What a great package. I’m sure you will enjoy the Super Deluxe version. It looks like a great package worthy of celebrating the 50 year celebration.

Bob Morawski Just for future reference George’s Wonderwall Music came out on 1 Nov. ‘68 followed by John and Yoko’s Two Virgins on the 11th November. White Album on the 22 Nov so George was first release on Apple.

Hi Larry, you look like the cat who ate the cream! And why not, what’s not to love about new Beatles product (he asked rhetorically). I didn’t splash out for the super duper Deluxe like yourself, just the three disc edition (Lord knows I’ve spent enough on CD’s and concert tickets lately). Are you sure we’re not sharing the same brain? I keep those little sticker things on the outside of the CD/box set wrapping too, and I also agonise about whether to pin up posters etc from box sets too! Keep up the good work, would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the sound quality of the white album reissue too.

On a purely image level, this was the Beatles best looking period imo, Paul and George just look amazing in the photos from the period, real rough and rock looking, goes great with the loose, wild music they were starting to put out too.

Yeah, it's a really, really great new mix - I'm gonna be controversial and say it's significantly better than the original mix and the _awful_ remastered stereo mix from a decade ago. Some of the songs sound completely different on this, much fuller and more polished - they sound like they were recorded 50 minutes ago rather than 50 years.

To some extent, you remind me of Jemaine Clement in Gentlemen Broncos. 😃😂

The door you mentioned on 'The Beatles Mad Day Out' section of the book is actually the door of St. Pancras Old Church near Kings Cross Station, London (Check it out on google earth). I passed it last week and nothing has changed on the outside, except it's now a small music venue. The doorway on the 'Hey Jude' cover was a door at Tittenhurst Park (John's house in 1969) - the photo being one of the last taken of the band.

You're 60. Jesus, I'd easily take you for 40 max. You posted about Barry Gibb on FB, I was wondering if you're going to do a video to expand that post. But yes, "Country Lane". Can't believe that wasn't a single. But thanks for the video.

I still have the original album and used to have the photos and poster on my wall, too, when i was a kid. I've sadly lost the photos and poster.

A very nice box all though the Esther Demos are out for years. I collect bootlegs and the Esther Demos are in my hours for over 10 years already. Still a very nice box..

And you said it was a nickelback unboxing.... *My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.* Jokes aside, have fun with the box set Larry.

I got my copy from Amazon, they must have gotten a lot of early shipments because my number is 0009732. The best part of the book is the Track by Track section which details the origin of each song, its meaning, who plays what and details of the different versions included in the set. It's like they combined several Beatles books.

1. You look way younger than 60. Not saying 60's old, but you look 50. 2. The new mix is very up and down. Not as consistently impressive as the Pepper one, but some songs definitely have improved a lot. 3. The Esher demos alone make this box worth the money. They have never sounded better. 4. The book is stunning. 5. Your cat looks pissed off.

Didn't know this till ten minutes ago, but the whole 2018 remix White Album is available for 'free' on Amazon Prime Music, just downloading it now. It was The White Album (and Tomorrow Never Knows, the best tune of the 21st century) that's really got me turned on to the Beatles.

You know if you also buy the cd you can put it in the player and listen to the album for free

Keep in mind Larry you can still keep the shrink wrap on the super deluxe set the same way we did for our LP's you just have to take your time and edit your videos while you go . .

For the posters i just put them behind picture frames.

Your the only one that’s got the most interesting vid of this all the others are boring braggers and whiners lame ass vinyl community we have there’s still a few good guys left.

I went for the Vinyl LP set. I'm very tempted to get the CD deluxe, but I really just want the book. Not sure it's worth the extra $140 USD

So a year later i ordered the Beatles white Album vinyl Box Set from amazon.ca. I didn't see it in local record store , so i figured it was my only option. they have their own delivery service, bit for some reason they used mail, which meant i had to wait for it out side in the cold. The mail vehicle arrived the post man says 'your a Beatle fan" i though how would he know. he handed me the package. all they did was to affix the shipping label on the shrink wrap , no carton nothing, i was furious. i got on the computer and demanded a new package be delivered, this one shrink wrap was torn, marked up , dentsplus once you remove the shipping label you basicaly have to open it
