The packaging seems to get cheaper and cheaper with every set while getting more expensive.But the books included remain as good as ever thankfully. The book and bonus tracks are the things I look forward to the most. I don’t mind the different dimensions and designs for each Beatle box though, it almost drives home the point that every Beatle album is so different from each other and the packaging reflects that imo. But it seems Pepper and the WA were the high water marks in terms of packaging and content… but I’m still all in for boxes for Please Please Me -Rubber Soul…bring them on! (As well as more Macca Archives and Lennon Ultimate sets) I also find the excuse that the blu ray not being included is complete BS. This wasn’t released to coincide with an anniversary it was released on an arbitrary date, and you know they were working on it early in the year despite Giles always saying he hasn’t started work on it yet (they probably are already starting on the next set already) and the atmos mix came out a few weeks after the physical release, so they expect us to believe they couldn’t have pushed the release date back another month or so and include the blu ray?

A total shame about the lack of a Blu-ray disc with Dolby Atmos or surround sound. A real kick in the pants to those of us who purchased all of the previously released Beatles superdeluxe boxsets for the included Blu-ray disc with surround sound and were looking forward to listening to one of their best albums in Dolby Atmos or surround sound via Blu-ray. As it stands, this boxset is a total pass for me. Hopefully they reissue Revolver later down the line as it should have been with a surround sound Blu-ray disc.

Maybe ‘Please please me’ might be next as 2023 will be the 60th anniversary of its release. The sessions were done in a day so it’s doubtful there’s a huge amount of unheard material from these sessions.

You forgot to mention the spot varnishing on the front of the book.

Such a fine box set except for no 5.1 disc…. Makes no sense!

The photos on the sessions discs are the original robert freeman cover but wasn’t used and they went with the klaus voormann cover

Got the vinyl box. My only quibble is the Paperback Writer/Rain 7" single should have been in a newly-created picture sleeve instead of the old Parlophone replica, in my opinion. Now for the Rubber Soul box, the cover of the Day Tripper/We Can Work it Out single will be the same green Parlophone sleeve probably. Using an era appropriate photo or alternate artwork from Klaus Voormann for the single and that would have been much more visually interesting. I'll never understand the replica idea when the contents themselves are not replica (it has 2022 mixes and the mono mixes, so it's a 4-track EP not the original 45 single).

Having no BluRay disc and 5.1 mixes is a deal breaker for me 😞 I will not be purchasing this "Super Deluxe?" set.

There is a ton more great material connected with Revolver available than you will get on this issue, if you look for it.

The best box set is the white album!!!!....I heard the 2022 mix......it is not all that good....the sound effects is lost ... especially on Tomorrow Never Knows....U could tell the difference

That isn’t true if you compare the original stereo vs the newer stereo mix. That being said the mono does have more sound effects and is longer in length.

I downloaded mine in high resolution for FREE, not going to give in to corporate greed. PS i got the pdf of the book too.
