I notice you chose the mix with more harmonica (maybe the 45 rpm original, I don't have the single, sorry), instead for years I have been listening to the song of the "Rarities" LP, where the final harmonica contribution is missing. One curiosity: does the original song's tempo slightly increase at the end, or am I wrong?
@MPfrance
Жыл бұрын
rotanal - The ending bit was edited on to the original track - they did 7 takes to get the end bit correct so yeah - the tempos vary. And - having dissected around 80 Beatles songs (so far) - with all the talk of Ringo being "rock-solid" I can tell you this - there's not ANY one Beatles' track where the tempo does not fluctuate. This isn't necessarily a bad thing - 'cuz different sections feel better at slightly variant tempos.
