The sheer variety of musical styles illustrates what geniuses they were.
My favorite is And Your Bird Can Sing. As an ex-trombone player I think it sounds like something one might hear in a jazz band, marching band, concert band or symphony orchestra. As demonstrated by the talented Mike Pachelli, The Beatles’ skill, knowledge, and ability were limitless. John Lennon, Cynthia Lennon, George Harrison, George Martin, Brian Epstein, and Stu Sutcliffe, Rest in Peace.

With And your bird can sing, you are doing the work of two guitars. Respect
It's been 50 years after the end of our most famous band this year but there's still many people who still loved to play their music including me myself as a 16 yrs old teenager ☺ I hoped it will last long until I'm no longer have to live in the world anymore, amen. #thefabfourforever 👨👨👦👦
George definitely had a distinct playing style and his parts always fit the song, and plus so many of their solos are just perfect. Awesome playing Mike, you really did the lads well with this
Wow!!!!!!!, what a great work Mike. Spectacular. Congratulations.
Hey Mike...I appreciate the "love" you have for the Beatles guitar work...it matches mine. You are showing the world the combined genius work of John and George. After all...the Beatles were a "guitar band"...better than most people realize.

That was totally off the charts Mike! Well done & I really liked seeing that Rickenbacker guitar! One thing for sure, the Beatles set the stage for all of the music that followed. They were the innovators that everyone else learned from & copied....👍😉🎸
Whoa!! You nailed the And Your Brd C S with one guitar!. Amazing.
Amazing talent - and a guitar collection to match!

That was great! And lots of fun putting those lead riffs into the mental memory of each song's background melody. You're simply awesome on the guitar, Mike.

Fantastic video again Mike, so from the white cliffs of Dover, I say thanks very much for all your great Beatles lessons.
Thanks .I took the time to actually watch the entire video .It seems so much Beatles songs I still need to know, as well as learn."Something"and "Let it Be"I need to learn the solo.Then focus on the rest
one solo no one does which id love to know and be able to play is "Old Brown Shoe". a cracking under-rated song..
Thanks for the reminder. That the Beatles are extraordinary musicians; in addition to being great, prolific song writers, and fabulous singers.

Fantastic Mike. Thank you.
Mike is the master of recreating the Beatles music. I remember an old Beatles instrumental, probably from the Hamburg days, Called ' "Cry for a Shadow". Can you break that song down Mike? PLEASE? YOU MIGHT HAVE ALREADY. Love your page.
Love the way you dive down deep into the marvels of The Beatles songs and thus very keen to learn them with your help. Excellent ways you show how they were so good in the architecture of the guitar sounds for their songs.

Great Mike. You make it look so easy and smooth. So smooth brother. That John Epiphone Casino is so nice. You had that American Tele too.

I heard that Paul did Taxman solo. Makes sense because the style and pattern fits the bass style as far movement and use of octaves.

Trouble is you don't have enough guitars! Makes me look like a pauper with my two cheapies. You can never have enough but running out of room is a problem. Great video, it's so useful seeing these played, I must practice more. I should be a brilliant player as I've been at it 57 years but work got in the way. Now finding the motivation is difficult.

All the videos are great but this time is missing I want you she's so heavy solo...

Awesome vid! Do you know much about that Stewart amp I saw in the background? I bought one years back and love it but can't really find info on it.

Jason Meyer - I played my first paying gig (I made $3.00) with a Stewart and have bought every one I ever found. I have four. Mixed stories about them. And you're right. Hardly any web info on them. I've heard they were made in Chicago by the Valco company but all four of mine have no manufacturing data on them. I think they're one of the rarest amps. And they sound GREAT!!

@@MPfrance I know I love mine! Delicious gritty overdrive. If I recall, mine is an sl-11 (not home to check it out) and equipping w/2 el-84 output tubes which kinda made me wonder if it's origins are from the U.K. Perhaps it will always be mystery but I sure do love the primal scream of the little devil

Jason Meyer - I've heard the U.K. thing too - put they're 110V. Contact me through www.MikePachelli.com and I'll send you a photo of my four Stewarts.
I’m assuming Paul did the solo on Good Morning Good Morning. It sounds reminiscent of the solo from Taxman.
The Come Together Guitar Solo Is Under Appreciated
Hi mike! What effect did you use in your Casino to sound like a 12 string in a Hard Days Night?
@MPfrance
3 жыл бұрын
Jamqc24 - I'm playing along with a Buscarino (Pachelli model) that was Nashville strung. In case you don't know - "Nashville tuning" is achieved by replacing the wound E, A, D and G strings with very light gauge strings and tuning (those four strings) an octave higher than standard.

How did you get that tone from the Epiphone Casino in The End solo?
@MPfrance
3 жыл бұрын
Like most things tone related it’s 90% from your hands. But specifically I rolled the tone all the way off on the Epiphone and used whatever overdrive device was laying around.

@@MPfrance Good to know, in The End - Take 3 I would assume John plays a phenomenal bluesy outro and I can’t figure out how to play that last note he plays.
Taxman solo was done by Paul McCartney and the Get Back solo by John Lennon. Missing is While My Guitar Gently Weeps which had the solo done by Eric Clapton. I think that should have been included? But _By George,_ George Harrison's contribution to The Beatles should never be underrated.
@MPfrance
3 жыл бұрын
D800Lover - I compiled solos played by members of the Beatles. Eric was not a member of the Beatles. And truth-be-told, I would have preferred George play the solo in "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." He would have done a great job!!

what's the best guitar for beatles songs?
@MPfrance
3 жыл бұрын
Armand - There's no such thing as "the best." It's totally subjective. Whatever works for you is best for you. And matter of fact - I have some models that are the same guitars the Beatles played and they are not my favorite guitars what-so-ever. They are cumbersome, don't intonate well and truth-be-told, if the Beatles hadn't played those certain model guitars - those guitars would be extinct!

Mike pleas teach us, "Never get over you", by George Harrison, it's a beautifull song, please master¹
i rehearsed for a while with a beatles tribute i would've been doing george h. it didn't work out because their original george came back but i found alot of the beatles guitar solos are alot harder to play than they sound.
Apart from there talent it all goes back to there time in Germany, You would not last long if you played the same thirty songs of the same genre, and they Knew that Harrison was a great lead guitarist, McCartney and Lennon were from a different planet and Ringo was just exceptional as a LH Drummer
It's impossible for me to argue with you. As big of a BEATLEMANIAC as I am, You equal me on a more artistic level.

Do you believe it was George who played the solos on Dig A Pony and Let It Be from the album Let Ut Be? Could it have been Jeff Beck or Clapton?
@MPfrance
3 жыл бұрын
The ONLY other time another guitarist played on ANY Beatles record was Clapton on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."
@Sumbibebe
3 жыл бұрын
True, that’s the official knowledge but, I forgot to mention, you play all those chosen solos perfectly well. With this said, you would be familiar to how George plays and should be able to recognize a different SOLO DNA on the solos of Dig A Pony and Let It Be on the Let It Be álbum and not the original release. I’d really love your opinion on this based on your experience playing just like George. Thanks for your reply and great playing👍🏽
