The amount of growth from Crosshair has been so good to watch this season. He escaped not to even try and save himself but just to warn his brothers and sister the Empire is after them.
Dave’s probably like, “what did I do?” 😂🤣😏💯 Definitely a solid episode heading into the finale!!

@@funnylilgalreacts It would certainly be a little out of nowhere, given Hemlock didn't seem to even know she existed till the former kaminoan leader brought her up, specifically as means to use as a bargaining chip. Though I suppose it could be revealed that he developed new plans after the fact...Maybe he leaned of Omega's DNA basically being the basis for a clone starter kit.

@@funnylilgalreacts I don't think that he knows yet what is so special about her, but I have no doubt he's going to want to find out in addition to forcing the cooperation of Nala Se.
Hemlocks low, calm voice is so menacing
"And lemme tell ya, an Astro van? It can HANDLE!" 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 I LOST it bc as someone who learned how to drive in an Astro? YOU"RE NOT WRONG LOL
Crosshair does not know about Rex either. He has no knowledge of who the BB connected with after he left them. In fact, the Empire as a whole thinks Rex is dead. What Hemlock wants from Crosshair is information on how the BB think, what their patterns are, who else from the past they might have connections with so he can start the process of tracking them down or flushing them out. We did get an explanation for why they are after Omega again. They want to use Omega as a hostage to insure Nala Se's cooperation.
The female medical assistant might be a clone herself. Many subtle clues. She kind of looks like one, similar accents, and she has the same position that omega was created for, which is medical assistant. Thats too many coincidences. There are moments where it focuses on her, such as cross hair seeming to recognize her and asking as to why she would care for his well being. She does seem sympathetic to cross hair and if you pay attention it seems like she helped cross hair escape on purpose to be able to get the message out. They hint that she cant leave either. There is the moment where the dr wanting the clone girl and it focuses on her in the background. All quick moments that we may not notice. Im just curious to know if there is more of them and do they have inhibitor chips as well.
I'm starting to think that the one clone sniper from a previous episode, the one who declared themselves a "believer" before cracking one of those electro-tooths, was Hemlock's work. I wonder if he's been working on ways of "reprogramming" clones into true imperial loyalists.
My tipping point is the Clones will escape from Mount Tantiss in the end of Bad Batch series and Ahsoka Tano will appear in Season 2 finale to kill Dr. Hemlock and other Imperial Cloning Personnel.
@mathies3598
Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure they need Ahsoka, like let's not have her steal the show with the final kill after the Batch got all the development, like they've earned this moment for themselves. Especially Crosshair. He'll kill Hemlock. I'm just not sure if he'll be gone so soon though.
So, no spoilers.... In episode11 of season 2 (zillo beast episode), we find out that Hemlock has Nala Se (cloning scientist) in one of those holding cells but she won't help him. She says that she knows what the Emperor wants and will not be a part of it. He then gets the ex-Prime Minister Lama Su and threatens him. He tells Hemlock that the key to controlling Nala Se is to get the female clone, assumingly to use as leverage. I don't think there is any, at this point, special genetics in this part of the plan. Just trying to force Nala Se into compliance. However, everything is on the table in Star Wars and Dave.
the "Tech turn" is literally just drifting in a ship, not to be crude or anything but it /was/ a thing long before tech. *He just did it better that's all*
@AngeloBarovierSD

Mmm, Omega has a limited frame of reference. She may be smart for her age but she's still a kid, and kids love giving things pet names. As Star Wars loves to draw from history, the "Tech turn" is probably analogous to the "Immelman turn" and there's a whole damn history about what it is was vs what it is today, and how the naming applies (incorrectly). So, maybe it all fits? I'd also question the use of "drifting" in aeronautics. OTOH, this Star Wars, where the physics of aerospace are ... inventive. (Though are getting better at standardizing the combined aerodynamics, thrust, and repulsor physics which Stackpole tried to do in the X-Wing book series - and I've since adopted as my headcanon for all Star Wars vehicles in atmospheric motion. Yub yub, commander!)

One of the only reactors that actually paid attention, notably she noticed Gregor almost immediately.
In the season 1 finale the last thing Omega says to Crosshair before they fly away is “they’re still your brothers Crosshair. You’re my brother too.” I think he’s remembering that right about now.
In answer to your questions 1. This season has definitely pointed her character in that direction 2. Theoritecally yes but i doubt it will happen 3. Morgan Freeman in Shawshank Redemption - Every man has his breaking point 4. Could do but i'd be more interested to see what has happened to Cody I didn't have a problem with Hunter asking Echo when will it be enough, of course what Echo is doing is important but its probably more what he feels he needs to do rather than what he wants to do They were engineered to be slave soldiers for The Republic with no autonomy or rights and although they have a degree of autonomy now because of The Empire they are forced into a life not of their choosing, forced still to fight so in a way they are still locked in the same cycle There is always going to be another fight, there is always going to be another person or group that needs saved, at what point do you say I've done my bit & walk away whilst you still can and at a time where you can still enjoy another life. As a member of The Bad Batch Hunter was his leader and Hunter was doing what a good leader does, asks the question that you might not want to hear but is necessary for the welfare of his squad. "You spend all this time looking out for everyone else when are you going to look out for yourself?" Thats how i saw it anyway
cant have dark troopers without the failed experiments from hemlock. remember: the person inside was the weak link. A cyborg 'Mecha-Crosshair' could be one of those "failures" that turns on them...
All in all, a good episode to move the story along. I'm glad Crosshair tried to warn the guys. I'm sorry he didn't make it out. (I agree... he should have taken the storm trooper armor. Might have helped with the gas...) Dr. Hemlock. A little on the nose, but I'm with you... he is despicable. His assistant doesn't seem quite as bad, but... she's still right there with him, doing his bidding. Will Cid turn on them. I still don't think so. But... it's Rhea Perlman. Anything could happen! No... I still maintain that Omega standing up for her touched her sufficiently to where she'll stick up for them. But, we'll see. I'm on board for the adventure! (Oh, yeah... Omega's flying lessons. I taught all three of my kids to drive. Enough said.) Thank you for the watch. I'll look forward to the next one.
You're the first "reacter" I've seen that instantly recognized Gregor, I love you.
I admit, the Doctor has an awesome Voice.The SS haircut is a bit overboard, but the calm, measured -and frankly kinda sexy- voice works. Edit, Dr.Royce Hemlock.Somewhat derivative name, but still....talk to me Doctor.That voice is still sexy.

So the reason Hemlock is after Omega at this point is to pressure the Caminoan scientist (forgot her name) to pressure her to work with him by threatening Omega, i don't think he cares about new cloning, however i do think he wants the remaining clones to become Dark Troopers who were originally clones forced to become cyborgs....

Great episode, I'm sad that the season is almost over. I have a feeling that there is more to Omega's story, I'm not sold that she is Jango's clone. There is a reference to Project Omega in Rogue One when they are looking for the Death Star plans. Filoni has something up his sleeve with her.
Just an incredible episode. I have no idea what the finale will bring, but I feel certain it will be impactful and in different ways for members of our dear squad...

The way they hinted at with the music are we going to get Vader is what im wondering.
Right before... ok, let's not go there... but didn't Ani once tell Ahsoka that "loyalty is everything to the clones" Crosshair is conflicted, because who is he supposed to be loyal to. That's the question driving all the clones at this point. Simple fact is, the Empire is loyal to nobody; everyone is disposable; a resource. Thus the only people the clones can really trust is each-other.
Cid can't hurt them. All she knows is the channel to contact them.

Vader must be studying his AP Sithese for atleast 4 hours a day. Cool if he could show up on cruiser and say, Echo I am your commander
It's fun to see your own arc with Crosshair. I kinda like Hemlock as a villain. He's not just generic imperial Rampart. I think Hunter is concerned Echo won't give up ever and will fight the battle long after it's been lost which can do damage to a person in his head. I feel like the only way they'll save Crosshair is during the summit when Hemlock isn't on Tantis. Crosshair would only be able to tell how they think or how to draw them out. I don't think he cares about Omega, but knows how much she means to the squad. I could see Emrie (I think) the female scientist with Hemlock may give the answers they want. I suspect she's a clone too with the accent. Remember Hemlock wants Omega to get to Nala Se to “motivate" her to work on the Emperor's plans. I think Cid hates the empire, cause she thinks they'll come after her business and Ord Mantell, so her doing business with them is unlikely to me. Damn I typed a lot.
I smell redemption for Crosshair. Possibly tragic redemption, but redemption nonetheless. I also subscribe to Omega being a force sensitive clone theory.

@@funnylilgalreacts ya....didn't have enough coffee when I typed that....also can't remember how to spell her name, but I did my best correction.
Doctor Hemlock is the Empire's Dr. Mengele but that also makes him an excellent villain. I also think that Omega is important to Hemlock because when Nala Se created her in a private lab on Kamino, she was an unmodified clone with enhancements and her genes werent damaged by accelerated growth and other programming.
I won't accept Omega turning into Elia Kane, that would just be awful. Though I love the idea of Elia being a clone of a clone... This glimpse into a normal life for our Big Bros is just heartbreaking. Wrecker was building. Hunter was at peace. Tech was teaching. It was perfect and I hope they do get that kind of rest for a bit.
Okay, this season is going well. I’m a little anxious about how it’s going to end. A little bit of me is hoping ALL of the clones join up with Clone Force 99 and they call themselves “The Bad Batch” & become the beginning of the Rebellion.
Towards the end of the episode there are a lot of lingering, almost sympathetic, shots on the woman with the rectangular red glasses as Crosshair is being tortured. I think there is going to be a surprise reveal that she is a secret, age-accelerated female/Omega clone and does something to set Crosshair free.
@funnylilgalreacts

Her voice is definitely like omegas. I wouldn’t be shocked to learn there are more like her out there
Omega; according to Lamma Su; is the way to put pressure on Nala Se, to get her to cooperate. I don't think that the good Dr Hemlock has any other reason to want her. Which doesn't mean that he won't find Omega a veritable gold mine of use if he ever gets to study her DNA. But we've never really known what Omega's enhancements are.
1: Absolutely. 2: Can't keep nice things. 3: Nope. 4: Maybe, but what story would it advance? And I think Omega is ready to be self-rescuing.
1- She totally would but I don't think the Empire is interested in paying her for that type of information. They will get it by any means they deem necessary. 2- I think they will consider Pabu their homebase but this does seem like one of those, "too good to be true" scenarios. 3- I can see the next episode being a race to save Crosshair before Hemlock cracks him. We all have limits 4- MORE REX!!!
Pabu, it's a magical place
If Elia Kane is Omega, I gotta know how she aged so gracefully and Boba aged like old cheese? Why would we have so much character building and training and making Omega super badass, and also very empathetic and morally sound, just to turn her into some sorta brainwashed lackey for Gideon or Thron. If Elia Kane is some other clone experiment, that feels more fitting. I also want to know Bo's secret to youth, she's roughly the same age as Obiwan.
@funnylilgalreacts

Well, Boba Fett also spent time in a Sarlacc stomach, so… That’s why he looks as horrible as he does. I don’t think necessarily Elia is Omega. Maybe a clone of her. There must be something going on inside of that helmet because her hair looks perfect in Bo Katan never ages 😂
Just noticed the shirt lol, msu spartans grad?
I don't think Crosshair can do anything but tell the empire he can contact them and set a trap. Like he did using his old code. But I dont think he will do that. I think the BBatch will come to him.
